Wondering why they can't simplify the courts in these tournament games? This one -- as well as some of ther others I've seen -- have as many as three 3-point lines. The men's and women's are the same, so why can't they get a court with just one line? I'm guessing it can be confusing to the players.

Jeeze -- that UT player must think she's Caitlin Clark. That one was from about 28 feet.

Shaka shoulda taken a timeout, but I think that poor kid kinda panicked. They had time to get a better shot than a heave from 10 feet behind the 3-point line.

I remember years ago, UNI knocked of Kansas (the top seed) and went to the Sweet 16. Ben Jacobson was the next big thing -- ala Shaka Smart, Anthony Grant, Jeff Groce, Andy Enfeld, Archie Miller (gulp), and the list goes on and on. Not sure what offers he had, but I'm sure there had to be some. But he stayed put. Had a couple more really good years, but for the most part .. meh. Rather than wanting to taste the bright lights -- so to speak -- of a P5 conference, he stayed put. Guess for him, that was the right call.
