Less than a minute to play. Tie game. We've got the ball. Of course, we throw it away. Why don't we want to succeed!
-
We catch a break with a really lucky 3 and they come right back and get an even luckier 3. Just one of those seasons ...
-
Now, that was a good, patient, smart possession.
-
We have a chance to go up and ... 1. Romeo takes a crazy shot that has no chance of going in. 2. Green passes it to Juwan's feet. Why don't we want to have success!
-
Are my eyes deceiving me, or did we just hit three straight 3s???
-
If we had just GRABBED THE DAMN BALL that 3 wouldn't have happened. How do we let so friggin' many of those get away!
-
We're 2 for 14 on 3s. We go 4 for 14 (still not a good percentage), we're tied right now.
-
Honestly, how bad must Forrester, Moore and Damezi be if they can't get on the floor when we're performing like this! (That's a rhetorical question, BTW).
-
Smith with the 10-footer from 12 feet!
-
OK, we're down by 4. I predict that within 5 minutes, we'll be down by 10. We just can't sustain anything.
-
Great ball movement, but you just CANNOT miss wide-open 3s like that. Nobody was within 10 feet of Juwan. It can't happen.
-
I've screamed many things at my TV this season, but I think No. 1 on my list is, "GRAB THE DAMN BALL!" ... We lose so many 50-50 balls and seem to be so lazy in rebounding. Stop tipping it around or slapping at it and GRAB IT AND SECURE IT!
-
That's what I can't figure out. 13-11 doesn't look good, but I think the tournament is still there if we stop farting around and play hard and win some games -- especially with this stretch at home. ... Even Bonner said most had us in until the Iowa loss ... But this is a dead-a$$ team. They just seem as if they don't care.
-
Yikes. That was all ball. ... That's almost always gonna be a foul, but Justin didn't make any contact whatsoever.
-
So typical ... Down 9 early. We tighten up the D, have some decent possessions on offense and work it down to 2 ... Then we forget all that and it's back up to 7 -- and an OSU possession from 9 or 10. We just cannot ever sustain any run of success -- if you can even call it success.
-
Justin comes in and ... promptly dribbles it off his foot.
-
Again, Bonner: "Good drive by Smith, but he needs to realize when the shot's not there and kick it back out." That's true of everybody on our squad. We don't realize when something's not available, then make the proper adjustment.
-
On that long missed 3 by OSU, Green went right at the bucket, got stuck too far underneath and the rebound came out long. ... No. You find a man and put a body on him ... That should be so simple by now!
-
SSDD: Down by 9 just a few minutes in.
-
Dan Bonner: "Smith shoots 15 percent on 3s in Big Ten play. Maybe he should forget about that." LOL!

Tom Crean to be next Georgia coach / 6 year 3.2 Million annually

Not defending Crean, but keep in mind that disparaging post about him came from a Kentucky site. ... I haven't looked at any Georgia fan sites or blogs or posts (if there are any) and I don't intend to, but I doubt at this point they'll kick up much of a fuss about the basketball program. I wouldn't be surprised if on campus, about 90 percent of the students could tell you Kirby Smart's life story, while about 70 percent probably don't even know who Tom Crean is. LOL! -

I did not forget about interleague play, but I appreciate the condescending, snarky tone. I feel NL teams have the advantage during those as well -- whether in their park or in AL parks. In AL parks, they get a hitter they normally wouldn't have. In NL parks, AL teams lose a hitter and essentially, lose a much better defensive player (if they chose to play their DH in the field). And when it's time for their pitcher to bat late in games, they have to use a PH -- which they normally don't have to do.
