This is what used to drive me nuts about Crean -- we'd be up by 20-25 with 2-3 minutes left and he'd still have starters in. Get them out so they can get some rest and so they don't get hurt! -

I can't say for sure, but I have it on pretty good authority that sometime this spring, Romeo will decide to either attend Kansas, Vanderbilt or IU. A source with first-hand knowledge of his plans told me that, but asked not to be identified. -

I've been so terrible lately, I'm letting my dog pick this one. She says: IU 72 Rodents 61 P.S. She HATES these Friday night games! -

If Grayson Allen trips Joel Berry II tonight, causing a severely sprained ankle, a) for how many games will Allen be suspended?; and b) how many days of class will Berry miss? A) Allen will be suspended indefinitely, but reinstated before the next game; B) it's a trick question -- UNC players don't go to class! -
Andy Katz on the Toiletmakers game tonight: "This game was as loud as I've ever heard in any arena in over two-plus decades of covering college basketball." ... Either a) like everybody tends to do, he got caught up in the moment; or b) he's never been in The Hall for a big game. ... I'm calling B.S. on that.
-
And UNC's kids didn't have to go to class or do schoolwork!

Cavs win 59-55. ... I know many people think Tony Bennett's teams are boring, but I like watching them play. Plus, Devon Hall used to live right across the street from me! ... I still wonder: Had things not gone bad with Kathi, would we have had a chance to hire Bennett in '08? He was one of the hot coaching candidates then. Supposedly one of the reasons he wasn't interested in the job was he wasn't happy with the way IU dealt with his sister.

Not when you've got Kyle Guy, who can hit from anywhere on the court. U.Va. now leading.

I grew up in Indiana, but am a Bears fan. For one, the Colts didn't arrive till I was in high school and for two, the Bears were much closer (45 minutes away). Still, I keep my eye on the Colts since they're my home-state team. I almost think they'll be better off now. To me, McDaniels just always came off as a total weasel -- and this doesn't dispel that.

It's Gisele!
-
That's right -- and I was just talking about that the other day. He was the best QB in that game. (Although technically, he didn't score the TD).
-
Tevin scored a TD last year and Tracy Porter took an INT to the house against the Colts. Have any other Hoosiers scored in the Super Bowl?

We have a tendency to play a decent game at home against a highly ranked team (even though we lose), then going on the road and laying an egg. Until we turn that around, I gotta stick with the trend ... State University of New Jersey 68 Hoosiers 62 -

If Romeo's gonna announce at the McD's All-American game, that can only mean one thing -- he's going to play in B-town. The McD's game is in Atlanta, which is the site of our latest, greatest triumph -- our 2002 Final Four appearance. Also, what is McD's most famous menu item? The Big Mac. And where did Big Mac (George McGinnis) play college ball? At IU. Want more? Atlanta is in Georgia. The governor of that state is named Deal. Mark Deal is an IU assistant athletic director whose father, Russ, captained IU's 1945 football team, which went undefeated and won the Big Ten. When you break it all down scientifically, Romeo is sending signals that his decision is made: It's IU, baby. -

As far as I know, there's no P in TLDNR. Otherwise, Tommy P. is at the top of that list! -

I live in the South Hampton Roads area of Virginia (Virginia Beach, Norfolk, Chesapeake, Portsmouth, etc.) and I have it on deep, deep, deep background that Romeo will not be attending Norfolk State. But I only have it on deep background that he has said no to Old Dominion. -
I've said this before and I'll say it again. Try it underhanded, Freddie!

Probably missed 5-6 layups or somewhat easy shots. We make those -- that's 10-12 points and we're looking at a ball game.
