In the post-game show, the announcers are discussing our NCAA chances. Guess they have to talk about something. It's over, boys, and we blew it. Don't beat a dead horse.

I'm with you -- and we're probably in the minority -- but I just have no interest in the NIT. Maybe after I cool off a bit, I'll change my thinking ... but after today's performance, I'd just as soon this season be over, and let's start thinking about the next.

So perplexed at Justin's play today. He looked just flat-out scared. After missing his first five shots, he seemed to have no interest in trying to score. He had several times in which he was inside the top of the key and his defender was laying way off him. If he looks to drive, he can either stop and pop, go to the bucket or kick it out. But every time, he just handed it off. ... Amazing how his game, after being so elevated the past four games, just completely disappeared today.

Not sure what our NIT chances are. Guess it depends on how many regular-season conference champions lose in their tournaments, but TBH, I'd just as soon skip it. ... To play like we did for 35 minutes, when we knew we could still get an NCAA bid, is ridiculous. I just don't get it. All the gains we had made over the past four games were flushed down the toilet.

I guess being outside the arc is the only thing that matters? ... Because Wesson didn't step in until after Fitzner left his feet. ... Wasn't a smart play by Fitzner, but still ... Any call that can go against us will.

It's 72 degrees here today. I'm really, really tempted just go outside and play with my dog.

I feel almost blasphemous for saying this, but JuMo doesn't even seem into it today. Just a total lack of effort from everybody all the way around.

And yet another illegal screen. Why the eff does that keep happening!!! It's a shame the way this team is playing, too, because it sounds like there's a decent IU crowd there that really wants a reason to get loud. But we're not giving it any. When we had it tied in the first half, we immediately pissed it away.

OSU is not that good. We've had chances. Just have reverted to our crappy February form. Simple as that.

Man, hate to use a cliche -- but OSU just wants it more. They are just playing harder. We just aren't showing any fight. And after playing so well the past four games and having our season on the line, that's very, very puzzling.

Al, Al, Al, Al, Al -- grab the damn ball before you try to dribble off with it. You just cost us a possession.

And Justin Smith, who had been playing with confidence, just looks flat-out scared. He seems to have forgotten that he can affect the game with defense and rebounding.

Even though we've given up 35 points, I don't think our defense has been terrible. It hasn't been great, but that's not the problem, IMO. Too many wasted possessions on offense and too many turnovers are killing us and helping OSU create opportunities.

On three of our past four possessions, we didn't even take a shot. Not that we'd make it anyway, but sheesh ... That's got to stop!
