So on that pass play to Moore, our DB (Mullen) runs over, looks at Moore lying on the ground, watches Moore get up and make the catch. If Mullen looks back and finds the ball in the air, he has an easy interception. Again, our foolishness is astounding.

He had him by the collar for a good 2-3 seconds and his entire upper body snapped back. He could've broken a leg or ankle -- which is why that rule was added in the first place. Yes, we do. We are 103rd in the nation in 3-point shooting percentage and 293rd in 3-pointers made per game. We are making 5.6 3-pointers a game. That ain't gonna cut it against top-notch competition.

Yeah. I shoulda clarified my comments. I wasn't necessarily speaking to the style of play. I was just referencing that U.Va. could be an top 10 team and maybe even a national title contender without a ton of size -- sorta like that old Illinois team. And the Illini played at an elite level all season despite missing Gill for 14-15 games or so with a broken foot.

With the exception of the 5-9 guy, this could end up being like the Flyin' Illini of 1989. Their starting lineup was 6-4, 6-5, 6-5, 6-7, 6-8. That was a fun team to watch (except when Nick Anderson was hitting a 30-footer at the buzzer to beat IU).
