John Hugley IV goes full circle. Headed back to the city of Pittsburgh for his sixth -- yes, sixth -- season of college hoops. Had three at Pitt (two appear to be redshirts), one at Oklahoma, one at Xavier and now -- he's on his way to Duquesne. Maybe the Squish that Saved Pittsburgh???

Bucknell transfer Ashley Sofilkanich has committed to Michigan -- per Talia Goodman. The 6-3 sophomore averaged 19.7 ppg, 8.4 rpg, 3 apg and 2.2 bpg this season. Not sure how good she is, but on paper -- it looks as if a B1G rival picks up a nice piece.

Never said we were getting McMahon. Never said I thought she was an option. Never said I wanted her at IU. Never said Moren wanted her. I was just posting the news that a B1G player was on the move. Every time I see Goodman now, I can't help but think of a YouTube video he did after we hired D-Rock. He said he was visiting his daughter at IU and had a prearranged meeting with Dolson. This just happened to come soon after the announcement that Woody would not return. "I told him he ought to call T.J. Otzelberger," Goodman said of his chat with Dolson. Offering an athletic director advice on whom to hire for a major job? Takes smug and arrogant to a whole new level. I'm sure Scott said, "Hang on a sec. Lemme write this down. According to what someone wrote on here, IU stepped up with a good offer to keep her. She apparently just had it in her head and heart to leave. Her cohorts -- Mack, Syd, CMM, Meister -- are all gone, we're looking at a bit if a rebuild and she didn't want to be a part of that for her senior year. I thought it would have been a perfect opportunity for her to become the face of the program -- the team leader if you will. But perhaps she's more follower than leader. Kinda disappointing she had to pick Maryland, though. Something about Brenda Frese just bugs me.

He's done the South, the West and the East. The Midwest would help finalize his resume!

Florida kid was stupid to pick up the dribble -- but he got mauled. That was not a held-ball.

I'm always amazed at how once a guy goes to the floor with the ball -- everybody can just jump on top of him and we end up with a held ball call.
