I recall during the Notre Dame CFP game, a poster appeared all the sudden and spent most of the game trashing our program, but using "we" to throw off the scent off. As in -- "Guess we are overrated. We had no business playing in this game." Pretty soon, though -- we sniffed out the troll and the mods booted him/her. Makes one wonder ...

TBH, I don't think Howard's early success had anything to do with what IU did. Quinn Buckner pushed through the hiring of his friend -- that's what IU did. Howard was 42-17 in his first two years. He could've been 17-42 and it wouldn't have had any effect on our decision. That was all about Buckner bullying through the hiring of his old pal.

I haven't seen his name mentioned in a few pages (of course, I haven't been through every page) -- are we still thinking Mark Few is an option? He would have us eating lightning and crapping thunder -- though he has his hands full with San Fran right now!

For fun, I peek at the FB fan pages every now and then. Maybe I shouldn't, because the lack of intelligence there is sometimes frightening. But I've seen several posts of this ilk: C'mon people, let's just let Dolson do his job and stop guessing about the new coach. Dadgum, that's funny. I really don't think Dolson is going onto fan pages and saying, "Hmmmm -- I never thought of that guy. Lemme look into that." Coaching searches are fun. So are free fan pages -- at least they can be. Keep on speculating!

Man, I just can't figure this team out. When I predict a close score or a win, we get blown out. When I guess we'll get blown out, we make it close -- or win. Maybe I should just pick the same score every game -- maybe at some point, it'll stick. LOL. Anyway, here goes ... Hoosiers 72 Bruins 66

Two B1G games in Michigan last night: We beat MSU, and Michigan beat Purdue. Such a stark contrast when you read fans' reactions on the B1G Network's FB pages. The MSU sentiment is pretty much: 1) Blame Izzo; 2) Give IU credit; they won. The Toiletmakers sentiment is overwhelmingly -- it's the officials' fault. Made me chuckle. There's death, taxes and PUke fans whining about refs after a loss.
