My Way Too Early Opinion on this Season/Team

http://www.espn.com/mens-college-basketball/story/_/id/21411089/no-need-indiana-hoosiers-panic-yethttp://es.pn/2zAOt4d I hate ESPN for so many reasons, but thought this made some interesting points. There will be growing pains. No panic here...yet. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners -

So Romeo doesn’t want to go to IU, but gets to anyway? I’ll take it. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile app -

Yeah man, I would rather lose to ISU and get better throughout the season than beat Kansas and look like complete garbage by the end of the season. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile app -

There will be overreacting because we are a passionate fan base. But anyone who thought that Archie would come in and change these Crean-taught habits in a few months of offseason and few weeks of practice is crazy. If anyone has experienced a coaching change at any level of sport or one that involved a change in strategy, it JUST TAKES TIME. Archie will get them better by the end of the season, but don’t expect too much. I was more disappointed, as I was last year, in the lack of heart out there. That can’t be taught over a few weeks either. Does anyone really think Mike Davis coached that team to the Final in 2002? Coaching persists, good or bad, until the next guy establishes his stuff. Just take a breath. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners -

I’m just gonna say what we’re all thinking...it has been several pages since HoosierGuy has posted, and in that short span we have all managed to lose our minds. Coincidence? I think not. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners -

Hoosier Guy...the most polarizing figure of our age. For what it's worth, I like the positivity, because I'm always the opposite. So, anyway...Romeo is great at basketball and I want him on my team... Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners -

Timeline of my reactions to Hoosier Guy: April: Man, this guy is annoying June: What did he say today? August: Why can't I be more positive like Hoosier Guy? October: The only truth I know- "I believe in my source and that's me."- Hoosier Guy Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile app -

Followed by the Wildcat formation. It's like the coaches freak out when there's actually a good drive going. Have they ever heard of the K.I.S.S. method? Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners

Another CB pick for KU tonight. Seems like another sheep following Meyer. Dude is only 7/11 on picks. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners -

Gee, I wonder who the "Louisville rival" is. I am hesitant to dance on the Louisville grave, but would break out the river dance on the pUKe grave. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile app

This quote confuses me because I have seen people say this is his desire, yet he seems to want to play on the same team as a Romeo. So does his dad me "lead guard" as in the PG running the show? Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile app -
I can stand if my favorite team is bad because of deficient talent. I can't stand when they are a stupid team in terms of basketball/football "IQ," if you want to call it that. I have yelled at the tv many times about how stupid the Colts are as a team and in situations that middle schoolers should know how to handle. Eerily similar to last year's IU team, and I fully believe it starts with the coach. Pagano is a great guy, not a head coach. Sounds familiar. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile app

(2018) PG Robert Phinisee to Cincinnati

Yeah, I think that's a really good point. Usually, you lose maybe a little explosiveness, but it's one of those things most guys just play through. Then again, I guess it's hard to measure because a lot of what a guy like RP does is based off of quickness and that 'explosiveness.' Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile app -

As a Physical Therapist and having struggled with this in high school, maybe I can answer that. Tendinitis can linger off and on throughout a career, but it shouldn't have to greatly affect him. A lot of high school kids can struggle with it because it can be a result of 1. A still-maturing body and 2. Over-training. I'm not sure where RP's issues are? Knees are probably most common for a basketball player his age. Anyway, usually it takes rest, strengthening specific muscles that are the problem of imbalance, and making some slight tweaks to the movements that are the issue. AKA kids like him have an awesome resource in Clif and the IU training staff. Once under control, it really shouldn't continue to be so nagging. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile app -

While I've been hoping for an announcement soon and with OKC not playing until Sunday, I just can't help feeling that Glass is playing stall ball. I really want to believe that it's BD, but he kind of gave himself an out by implying it would be a slow process and giving all the guys with Indiana ties a chance, etc. Glass is playing without a real shot clock.
