There will be overreacting because we are a passionate fan base. But anyone who thought that Archie would come in and change these Crean-taught habits in a few months of offseason and few weeks of practice is crazy. If anyone has experienced a coaching change at any level of sport or one that involved a change in strategy, it JUST TAKES TIME. Archie will get them better by the end of the season, but don’t expect too much. I was more disappointed, as I was last year, in the lack of heart out there. That can’t be taught over a few weeks either. Does anyone really think Mike Davis coached that team to the Final in 2002? Coaching persists, good or bad, until the next guy establishes his stuff.
