Okay, I’ve been hesitant to jump on the “where’s the coaching?” bandwagon, but it’s the same areas that are killing us every game. Lack of awareness, inability to hit free throws, our two best players picking up quick fouls...this stuff just kills us. At least the effort is improved compared to Nebraska. No judgment here, Old Fart. I had a similar experience, though in my early teens. Felt nauseous with very simple movements for awhile. In high school, my best friend took a charge and hit his head so hard that he went rigid and started seizing. Scary stuff. Anyway, he was recovering for weeks. Docs ended up telling him he shouldn’t play anymore and that if he had another concussion (he had had 3 or 4) that there was a 50/50 chance of permanent damage or even death. Fatigue or not, mental or not, I’m in the camp that says yes, it’s concerning. But bad games happen. We got out of it with a win, we move on to the next one. Kansas just beat Marquette by 9 after being down 9 at half. We’ve seen IU thoroughly outplay a good team, lose a close one on the road to a decent to good team, and not show up for a scrappy team.
