Remember that Alford and Holtman both feel slighted for not being offered the IU job. Both will go out of their way to recruit Indiana. Archie will have to fight to say the least.

Mile said on the other site recently that it's essentially an IU OSU race with OSU making up ground. He didn't mention Purdue.

Look I think IU is clearly the best place for Romeo. Archie is a million times better coach than Drew. Vandy is a crap program with no fan base. I just don't think Romeo sees it that way. I call it as I see it.

He was at the PU-OSU game I believe and I doubt it was to see Purdue.

I'm wondering if they have a shot at Montgomery. The Vandy fans think they're going to land him and a couple guys on Rupp Rafters who live in Nashville said that Garland got to him during the Italy trip over the summer and has been working him to Vandy ever since. Most think he's Duke bound though.

Yeah Romeo supposedly has his UNC degree at home in New Albany that he received during Late Night with Roy.

The biggest hold up was his sister's firing. He also supposedly didnt want a pressure cooker job.

He very well may. I've said many times on here that you can't judge a guy by his first season or two. See Roy who was a bubble team with 3 top 10 recruits his first season at UNC. Or Marshall who was magnificent at Winthrop but took a couple years to get WSU going. Or Pitino's first year at UL. You get the drift.

That was the main reason he turned us down. I am happy with Archie but Bennett would've done wonders here.

There was also the incident at Brentwood Academy. I'll keep saying it...Garland is a punk.

He was 1-5 against Illinois and 3-11 against MSU. Probably cost us both games. Scored 0 against Purdue. Are you sure you're watching basketball?

I wouldn't worry about Bryce Drew. His 2019 class will be nothing like 2018. He got very lucky in that one. He won't have his best recruiter anymore after next season.

If only we'd have gotten rid of the Clapper sooner. What a Hoosier Guy would have been.
