To be fair, Rabjohns was the one going down to Nashville and doing all the stories with Darius and Winston Garland that made it sound like he was an IU lock. Right before he announced for Vandy. I'm not getting played again. I sure hope we get him though.

It was Sampsons true 2nd class. I'm not counting Smith, Durham, and Moore as Archie players as they were clearly Crean recruits. And Ebanks was ranked #11 by Rivals and 13 by scout. I just assumed he had to of been a burger boy.

I don't think anyone is saying he's bad recruiter. He may turn out to be a great one. But Sampson came in and landed 2 burger boys right off the bat. Crean had 5 in 5 years at one point and he was a terrible coach who was also weird as sh!t. Landing Romeo will shut everyone up for a while but make no mistake if we whiff on him then CAM absolutely must knock the 2019 class out of the park.

Well Crean inherited a much, much worse situation and he already a guy in Watford who was higher ranked than anyone Archie has landed. I honestly thought he'd have a big time commit or two by now. He could still get Romeo although I'm pretty confident he's going to Vandy. I love Archies coaching though. I'm just not sold on him as a recruiter yet.

Romeo, TJD, and Brooks will tell us a lot. IMO Archie has to land at least 2 of them or it's pretty unlikely he succeeds here.

He's transferring or at least Archie is hoping that he does.

My freshman year we only got 4 tickets as it was coming off the FF season so demand was sky high. We weren't that great as JJ was now gone but the Hall was packed every game even for the crappy non conference ones. Make a FF again and the Hall will always be full.

I still think we lead but we're going to have to fight for him. The good news is that I'm assuming our odds of landing Brooks have gone up a bit in light of recent events.
