“I’m unfortunately skewed in a lot of ways, I guess” was also said in the quote. Not really a ringing endorsement of what he said he’s become. It might mean nothing but it also might mean something. Time will tell. I won’t say it’s over until IU gets a coach

I think it’s funny. Iowa is almost always overrated. No way they should’ve been a 2 seed. I mean they lost to IU both times. Iowa isn’t that good

Bennett is clearly a great coach. He’s won the ACC five times in the last eight years. He has to battle against UNC, Duke and Louisville each season. That’s big time competition. He’s also won multiple conference tournaments. Those results insinuate great consistency. That’s something I’d love to see at IU. Bennett still has a lot of time to prove if those early exits are aberrations. Time will tell

The only knock on Bennett is that his teams usually underachieve in the NCAA tournament. Of his eight tournament appearances at Virginia, five of them ended before the S16. Yes I know he’s won a national championship. Can’t take that away from him. Just an observation

I’m not buying that Bennett has serious consideration. However, it’s fun to think about being in the conversation for conference championships every season once again

I don’t care about conference supremacy. The only team that I care about doing well in conference is IU
