    Fred Glass accepts mediocre basketball

Everyone talks about how talented we are. But Blackmon is not a good defender and disappeared last night, Bryant is no Swanigan and Crean's offense has him dribbling and screening at the top of the key half the time, OG should've been averaging a double-double but wasn't, why? Newkirk is inconsistent and awful at times. Morgan is a good rebounder but not a consistent scorer. Davis can play the post but can't stay out of foul trouble. Green and Jones are athletic but inconsistent. McRoberts is a smart player but not an offensive threat. Rob Johnson is the most consistent player on both sides of the ball. So, yes we have players with talent. But as a group they can't consistently play at Top Ten levels. To me, Crean hasn't figured out how to put these pieces together to get the best out of them. Maybe they can't run his multitude of plays consistently without turnovers and bad decisions. So do something else that gets the best out of this talent. Consistently.
