I don’t see it that way. If they did it they weren’t even going to discuss his recruitment. However cooler heads prevailed and realized it just wasn’t a great idea. Which it wasn’t for various reasons.

I think it will. IU will hopefully get off to a better start. That said Marian has some guys that can play and they’ll push the tempo offensively.

I love it. I know I will be wearing a plaid jacket a few times this basketball season in honor of Coach Knight. I’d love to see coaches all over the country wearing plaid jackets or Red sweaters this season.

The composite isn’t the greatest way to judge imo. On3 sucks and ESPN sucks. 2 of the 4 that make up the composite aren’t great. 247 has him at 89 and Rivals is around 120. Rivals has him trending up.

The simple answer is that he was 5’11 and isn’t a big time scorer. He’s grown some and added muscle since getting to OTE. He has developed over the last couple years. I believe he could be a solid college basketball player.

I don’t really see much of a downside in going after Davis.

Based on Tipton’s tweet it’s pretty obvious who that was. He’s not throwing Indiana out there by just guessing. He doesn’t do that.

Good thing that you aren’t running the program then. That’s just not the way to do things in todays college basketball.

The only issue I’ve got is that sometimes “a bird in the hand is greater than 2 in the bush” and to me IU has passed over good players the last couple cycles that could’ve helped to program to focus on 1 or 2 guys and then missed. It’s not a recipe for success. To me get the guys that you can get and then swing for the fences. Don’t swing for the fence and then miss out all together. It’s a good thing they landed Liam but a one man class isn’t going to cut it with the roster overhaul IU might face next year.

I’ll say this to about Cal. He is in desperation mode so who knows what he sold Boogie on in this recruitment.

As someone that has been around high school several kids that have been recruited to play college athletics I will say this. High school recruits get sold a bill of goods and make bad decisions in recruitments all the time. Not saying that’s what happened here but it does happen A TON!

There are leaks. Guys do talk. The IU staff was hopeful until today.

Cal is still Cal. He doesn’t win like he once did but for some reason guards buy into his crap more than any other college coach. He constantly overhauls his roster and has guys leave yet he still gets recruits that want to play for him. It’s truly incredible. I get it UK shells out $$$ but it’s still crazy.

I don’t see how the flight from Bloomington to White Plains has any connections to Boogie but hopefully I’m wrong.
