I'm still not sure about how things went down Wednesday. It's almost like to much stuff was getting out and the leak happened to quiet things down and then some people got told to shut up and stop talking. I'm also not sure what to make of the meeting that Yeagley said was to take place on Tuesday. Things just seem off about this whole situation.

Woodson is the most incompetent coach IU has had since Davis and he might be worse. The fact that he hadn’t been in communication with McNeeley since he signed is a joke but I can’t say I’m surprised. He’s been really lazy ever since he got the job but @KathywithaC says he’s better than Allen was so I guess he’s the right guy to lead the IU program.

I thought it was Woodson that hadn’t spoken to him?

Do you actually believe this stuff you are saying? Talk to any other coach and they can tell you exactly how to attack and beat a Mike Woodson team. It's not an accident they aren't winning without 2 pros this year.

I don't see how this GM role is going to help with anything. Woodson already has a recruiting coordinator and assistants that have put him in a really good spot with recruits but he hasn't followed through and no recruit is going to listen to a GM tell them stuff when they are being recruited by the HC at another program. Anyone that thinks this will work is in for a rude awakening.

New and old posters have been coming out of the woodwork all over the place to chime in on IU basketball the last week or 2. It's crazy how that seems to be happening about the same time that rumors of a change being almost a certainty come out.

Maybe but I didn't think Buckner inserted himself until it came to hiring Archie but who knows. He might have forced Crean out but that was a necessary move imo.

Glass didn't hire Crean and Buckner wasn't involved with that hire.

It's not going to happen but Alford would be better than Woodson so that would be an improvement. That said he won't be the HC at IU

How much of that is what Woodson is telling him to get the ball and score when he's in the paint or at the rim? To me it looks like he's been coached to do that.
