That's not going to happen while May is at FAU. May won't come to IU unless it's as the HC.

People love saying that about Dusty but I don't believe it to be true.

Louisville it appears has shifted their attention towards Drew, Cronin, Tang, and then May.

I agree but with the rebuild IU could be looking at he might be the perfect candidate to get things turned around. That said he has to have some success next year at ND to even be in the conversation.

To me there's 1 person that makes a ton of sense after next season because they will bring some players with him and likely have some 2025 in state kids ready to commit or flip to IU to play for him. He obviously doesn't have the resume at this point of some other coaches but he is a very well respected coach and is a great recruiter. Not saying he'd be my first pick but he would make some sense.

I just don't know if IU has anyone else that should be influencing the next hire that won't find a way to screw it up.

I trust Dolson more than others that have been sticking their nose into the past few hires that IU has made.

It's clear IU is targeting bigger names and wants a coach that moves the needle. I'm guessing the list looked something like Pearl, Drew, and someone else if May wasn't really a needle mover for the boosters.

Idk about that. IU is supposedly overpaying but he may decide he wants to play for a winner and get paid decent money. I don't expect it but it's possible.

And a HC that doesn’t like to recruit, likes to bash the fan base, throws players under the bus, doesn’t hold players accountable, skips his weekly radio segment pretty regularly, has issues with other IU programs, and just thinks he’s untouchable.

I might become a Louisville fan if he takes that job. They will start taking players from IU left and right because they will have an IU flavor just a little further south and will actually focused on winning.
