That was fast but Porter's dad was a Woman's coach there and I'm pretty sure he has a daughter or two that still plays there.

The difference is Irsay had Polian in his ear when he hired Ballard. We have Glass and a bunch of trustees that don't know whole lot about athletics making the decision more than likely.

I bet Crean tries to hire Porter's dad to save his own skin. While also trying to get Waters and Tucker. OG, Hartman, Blackmon, Johnson, Priller and McSwain are gone. This just seems like something Crean would do to save himself.

It has been said by multiple people that Alford was the one pushing to come to IU. I also think it might have to do with his family still living in New Castle if I'm not mistaken.

I personally think Alford wants to come home. I also think that is the reason that Dakich always mentions his name when he talks about the possibility of replacing Crean.

All Fred needs to do to keep his job as not suck at his job. That means hire coaches that don't suck.

I personally am starting to think that if we don't get Stevens, Donovan, Bennett or either Miller I do want Alford as the coach. Indiana has tried to go away from hiring Indiana guys and it hasn't worked.

I'll be honest Indiana could hire Stevens, Donovan, Bennett, Miller, Miller, Marshall, Collins, Alford, Few, Holtmann, White, Vogel, Fife, Keats, Nored and others I'm just ready to get rid of Crean.

Dakich is also saying that things will continue to go bad at Indiana unless they hire Alford because things end badly at Indiana for all coaches. He also just said that Indiana ignoring their past has worked out really well so far.

I think Rabjohns is right about Glass flying back last night because there was a jet that arrived in Bloomington from Atlanta last night a 2:05 a.m. So that would explain why it also looked like Glass didn't have any luggage in those airport pictures from yesterday.
