Well what Rabby said was that Brooks has communicated with the coaches at IU today. He said that UK made a good impression but Brooks doesn't want to make a decision right after a game like that. It's still UK, MSU, and IU. Brooks hopes to have a decision by the end of the month but it's not set in stone. UK did make up a lot of ground though but that's not surprising since Cal is a salesman.

Correct and they are dropping to 2A next year. Also it is possible to drop teams but you have to pay a fee for breaking the contract and that might be something that Blackford isn’t willing to do. They are playing a varsity schedule but the school size isn't the reason for not being in a sectional. That would be because they either aren't a state association school or they haven't been a state association school for school for at least three years which I think is required to be in an IHSAA sectional.

I do find it funny that none of the people with sources have really said much on this topic on any of the sites. That’s like the issue in the locker room after last game that nobody shared the details of they all just kept saying it wasn’t that big of an issue. What I’m saying is in the day and age of the one and done and kids transferring all the time it isn’t possible to have a system that takes 3 full years for players to learn. Now I could see it taking that long to implement everything he wants depending on how quickly guys adjust to his style which actually looks like it might take a little longer than three years the way things have regressed this year. I don't buy it. That is impossible to have that type of system in this day and age in college basketball. My guess is that is how long he thinks it would take to implement to see on court success but that's my guess.
