Tim won't leave at this point until Tim wants to leave. He's been the Head Men's Basketball Trainer since 1981. So he'll stick around until he decides to retire.

(2021) G Luke Brown to Ball State
ap2345 replied to HoosierCoop's topic in Indiana Basketball Recruiting Forum
Yeah I moved on to Pendleton and just finished my second season there. If Blackford can slow down Franks and Andrews from Wapahani they should be fine. The Henderson kid stepped out and hit at least 3 three's when Frankton went to a triangle and 2 so that could be a problem if Blackford plays a zone but like I said before I don't think they will be able to stop Luke. The early game can be odd for some kids though. -
I agree with that. 1 or 2 at most.

I think there is. There has been to much heat put on Archie from articles in the national and local media to go along with upset fans and there hasn't been any support at all. That's not a good sign to me.
-
I'm going to guess that it will be quiet until IU loses to Rutgers on Thursday. Then there will start being more rumors and leaks coming out on Friday. Gut feeling is that Archie will not be back.
-
If I was Dolson and Mack really is interested I would hire him ASAP and even pack for him and Archie. He has proven he can make the tournament in multiple conferences, he has a winning track record with experience, and he has shown he can recruit in Indiana. Not to mention he could be the long term answer that IU has been looking for.

Just to compare some winning percentages of names that have been thrown around. Chris Mack .687 51 years old Chris Beard .708 48 years old Scott Drew .631 50 years old Tony Bennett .729 51 years old Steve Alford .652 56 years old Thad Matta .740 53 years old Jon Beilein .637 68 years old For comparison Archie has a .632 career winning percentage and a .540 at IU.

(2021) G Luke Brown to Ball State

That should be the final 4 imo. I know Rochester played fewer games but I based it on winning percentage. That said I'd say they also had the weakest schedule. Wapahani will be a tough test. Luce can coach and they have 2 guards that are solid. They're just solid and can hit shots. They are also a freshman and sophomore. That said I don't think they will be able to stop Luke. Covenant Christian had it's hands full getting passed Heritage Christian. Shenandoah would've beaten Heritage Christian by at least 20. We played both teams and they weren't even close. Maybe Heritage Christian was just a bad match up for Covenant Christian or maybe Covenant had a bad game. I'm not sure what happened but I'd put my money on Shenandoah in that match up. -

I'm going to guess that Shenandoah makes it out of their regional. I think they beat Covenant Christian and Parke Heritage. They could have a tough time but I think Shenandoah is more battle tested and they just have 5 guys that are good enough to carry the offense and beat you. Blackford I think should win their regional. I know Rochester has a better record but I think Wapahani will give Blackford their toughest game of the two and honestly I think it will be Blackford and Rossville in the regional championship. -
Except for the part where it was Mack that reached out to IU and not the other way around. That’s what makes that situation more interesting IMO.
-
Someone should tell the staff that hope isn’t a strategy to improve and until those players enter the portal and say they are coming to IU that’s all that is. That’s a bad last ditch effort IMO.
-
I was wondering if maybe that was the reason he wanted to get out if he could.
-
@Chris007 I’d take Chris Mack. He’s a good coach and a good recruiter. I find it interesting that he’d be the one to reach out to IU though when it’s been said that UL was his dream job. Then again there’s always the chance of stuff going on behind the scenes at UL that he doesn’t want to be a part of.

Reds Rotation 1. Gray 2. Castillo 3. Mahle 4. Antone/Miley 5. Lorenzen I like Antone in the rotation but I also like him in the bullpen. He needs to prove he can make it through the lineup more than once.

You realize that Joey was on pace for over 30 HR's last year if it would've been a full season. Joey's biggest problem has been himself and overthinking things and he finally admitted that this spring training and that's why he's now just trying to hit the ball hard and drive in runs while not trying to outsmart the umpire on every pitch like he has in the past.

The QB depth behind Penix will be just fine with Jack Tuttle, Dexter Williams, and Donovan McCulley.

CAM is going to see him again after visiting him last week as well. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile app

Mason Miller who is the son of Mike Miller has been receiving interest from IU. Rabby just put an article up saying how he has serious interest in IU and he likes Archie and Ostrom. Rumor had it a while back that his dad doesn’t want him to go to Memphis. Could be an interesting recruitment to follow moving forward. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile app

Class of 2021 DE from Elkhart Central has committed to IU as the first commit of the 2021 class. He is ranked #398 nationally and a 3* according to 247. 6’5 225 lbs. https://247sports.com/Player/Rodney-McGraw-46083731/ Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile app

Depends. He would have to earn playing time. But if he shows he’s one of the best 7 or 8 maybe even 9 guys he’ll get playing time. It’s up to him. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile app

There are ways of finding out. In fact I’ve heard it stated before you should never put your name in the portal unless you know 100% that there is a school that will take you. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile app

Damezi could still be a solid role player as a junior and senior. It’s possible that he decided to stick around and compete for playing time or he didn’t want to try transferring in the midst of this coronavirus chaos. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners

(2021) - PF Mason Miller to Creighton
ap2345 replied to ap2345's topic in Indiana Basketball Recruiting Forum
Why? IU will likely need another F/C to go with Duncomb and Kaufman. Brunk and TJD will likely be gone and Thompson will be a senior. He’s currently a 6’9 PF that needs to gain weight. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile app -
