Seton Hall is going to need to beat Air Force first.

It's over! IU takes it in PKs.

Go Hoosiers

We are currently losing, and it would be my guess that it's not due to UMBC fans.

My scale also measures body fat %, which has steadily dropped. I also had a dexa scan before I started and one recently that showed my body fat % has dropped significantly. In addition, I’m lifting weights most days and have lost almost no strength. Of course you will lose some muscle whenever you cut but the majority has been fat. You have absolutely no clue what you’re talking about. OK I’m really done now.

I've been doing it for 6 weeks by counting calories, tracking calories burned, and weighing myself daily and have had great results. You can continue to argue with me, but as usual you don't know what you're talking about. I'm sure no one cares about this argument so I'm going to stop there.

Going into starvation mode is certainly something you need to be mindful of but it's not likely to happen at 1,700-1,800 calories.
-
I am literally doing this right now. 3,500 calories a day is not only possible, it's not that difficult. Your body is going to burn about 2k on it's own and you can get to 3,500 with about 15k steps throughout the day. If I do enough cardio and walking in a day I can get 4k calories burned. And if you eat the right foods, you can eat 1,700-1,800 calories while burning 3,500 and spend very little time being hungry.
-
That is untrue. Losing 1 lb every two days is equivalent to burning 3,500 calories and consuming 1,750 a day - an amount that is considered healthy for dieting. It requires a tremendous amount of discipline (mainly in terms of eating) but you can lose 30 pounds in 2 months.

As in winning the big ten? Jesus, is it fun being depressed all the time? -
Any chance we go after him?

So basically this is solely based on geography rather than for example, pitting the best 1 seed against the worst 2 seed. Does strength within seed come into play at all?

2019 Off-Season IU Roster News and Moves
HoosierX replied to CrossboneIU22's topic in Indiana Men's Basketball
Villanova has lived on kids in the 30-60 range. I'm very confident kids ranked around 50 on average easily outperform kids ranked around 125. I think the 30-75 range is the sweet spot because you are getting really good players that likely aren't going pro after 1-2 years. -

Shouldn't you be somewhere evangelizing how overrated Carsen Edwards is? -

Yes it is misleading and it's just a lazy analysis. Plus as mentioned you aren't taking volume into account at all. Lumping a low volume 20% shooter into a group that is shooting 35% overall is just dumb. He is not a guy that is keeping the defense honest so what is the point of including him. -

The post I believe you are referencing was from Bailey on Feb 10th. Green was suspended in January so that timeline doesn't make sense. -
The Season Is Finally Over, Now Where Does This Program Go?

You're right, it's probably someone blowing off steam. I mean I couldn't stop rooting for IU even if I wanted to. I'd only have enough clothes to last about 3 days! -

That is only part of his problem with being a perimeter player. Have you seen him play defense on the perimeter? He gets torched consistently. I went to the northwestern game and that guy Falzon who had averaged 2 points a game went for about 20 with Smith being his primary defender. I think his post defense is actually much better. Also where are you getting he is a pretty good ball handler? He is absolutely a below average ball handler for a perimeter player. -

Justin Smith epitomized the lack of effort and tenacity on this team. He was a guy who just went through the motions. I truly hope he is not back next year. Not because he isn’t talented enough to help us but because IMO he is a net negative due to his attitude. -

He could have 30 points, 12 assists, 8 steals, 5 blocks, and 1 TO and you would focus on his TO. -
(2019) SF Keion Brooks Jr. to Kentucky
HoosierX replied to ccgeneral's topic in Indiana Basketball Recruiting Forum
I don’t know why I’m indulging this, but let’s make a hypthothetical timeline. 1) Keion announces at 8 2) Media obligations and talking to others he knows there lasts until 9:30 3) Somehow and inexplicably Keion breaks from his entire family immediately afterward and the three of them find a place to drink together by 10 4) They drink from 10 to 12:30 AM 5) TJD then begins the multi-hour drive home drunk 6) TJD gets home at 3:00 AM the night before a semi-state game There are almost zero universes in which this is a remote possibility -

It’s easy for me to buy the narrative that they want to support their good friend regardless of his decision. The idea that they are going to hang out, especially considering TJD’s circumstances, is borderline idiotic.
