(2023) - SG Jakai Newton to INDIANA
HoosierX replied to Class of '66 Old Fart's topic in Indiana Men's Basketball
The first clip I watched I thought he was left-handed for about 30 seconds because he handled the ball so well with his left hand and finished left-handed as well. -
I know there’s not any intention there, but I don’t love the way he talks about the other coaches in the article. If I’m an assistant coach, I wouldn’t want my discussions of a player’s weaknesses to be put on blast.

Does Sheridan know that you don’t have to run on first down? -

I would agree, he’s not dual threat. The play that he tore his acl last year felt like one of the few times he ran all year. -

Will give him another game or two before drawing too many conclusions but if that continues we may have the worst punter in power 5. -

Millions, as in per year? I highly doubt he, or anyone else really, could make that kind of scratch overseas annually. -
(2022) DB Dasan McCullough to INDIANA

Based on a few posts above, it looks like he'll graduate in December so not sure it would affect his current season? Adding a question mark because I don't know. -
(2022) - CG Jalen Hood-Schifino to INDIANA

I mean how could a coach ever really say more than, "We would envision you taking over the starting PG role when you come in, contingent on your continued development." And I don't feel like Lander would take too kindly to a blanket promise of starting PG role. -
(2022) RB Gi'Bran Payne to INDIANA

Second this question. Any idea on timing from anyone? -
What does 30/34 mean?
-
There are multiple ways to read that, so I understand the question 1) Season ticket sales compared to 2019 2) Sales for game 1 compared to tickets sold for game 1 at the same time in 2019 3) Sales for game 1 compared to total tickets sold for game 1 in 2019 Exciting whichever way you slice it though ha.

Damn, he's a stud. -
It looks bad in slo mo but the first dribble wasn’t an actual dribble. Both players touched the ball and he (Booker?) didn’t have possession yet. That is actually great officiating.
-
And it should be.

(2022) Ryan Miller TE to INDIANA (3*)

Awesome -
Obviously he's a great player based on his regular season performance. But, if all you watched was the postseason (like me) you wouldn't guess he was our best player.
-
We just weren't crisp. Poor passes, bad touches, not knocking in easy opportunities. Just a poor game all around. But in the end, solid season.
-
Well that sucked. We had our chances but honestly we played really sloppy all game and didn't deserve to win.
-
Not crisp is a great way of describing our play.
-
Just playing really sloppy.
-
I'd take a bezerra goal 10 minutes into the 2nd half. He's due.
-
Pitt just seems to be operating with space much more often than we are.
-
Super unfortunate end to the half. We were making a run and there was a very obvious foul on Marquette that the ref didn't see. Led to a turnover and the eventual goal.
-
On the bright side, it looks like the better team between Marquette and LMU lost and we get Maher back next game.
