Agreed bud. I've just had a feeling all along that he has to have a plan. I mean just sitting back looking at a list of 20 names can't be a good plan. Key for me is how nothing has come out other than speculation. Except the maybe going all in on Brad.

So r we all going on the notion that Dolson is wide open with a list of 10+ possibilities or more along the lines of he has a plan that we just don't know?

U hafta believe there is SOME plan in place because they really have been tight lipped. I think we as fans are just so eager to win that we are all over the place right now. I for one am trusting Dolson until he proves me wrong. This whole process has felt different. Gotta be for a reason.

Man we r throwing out so many names. My brain hurts. I'm starting to think there will not be a hire until after the tournament is over. Regardless of who it is. I just don't think Dolson is gonna settle until all his cards are played. I think he knows this hire right here just might be the most important IU hire to date. I for one hopes he DOESN'T rush it. Time is literally the best indicator of what Dolson is trying to do. If we are down to a Fife type hire or Beilein, id expect a presser early next week. If not, id say he is still hunting something bigger. Personal point of view and by no means a rocket scientists take.

This is pretty much my thought as well. Go all out for the "Holy Grail" and if we get the "no thanks" then do what we haven't tried yet which is an IU guy. According to media IU isn't what "we" think it is and the only guys that still think it is THE job are gonna be IU guys. In other words, stick with your own kind Indiana.

And if it's beyond repair I guess we as fans should look in the mirror cause we're to blame because Bilas said so :)

I mean don't get me wrong, if Dolson really has done what we've been told, im proud of him up to this point. I think that's what we all wanted him to do. Can't fault him there. But if ol Brad is a "Masshole" now, Big Scotty has to get level headed and FOCUS on hiring the right guy. Shake the Brad thought outta his head and focus.

Let's say Brad truly does love it in Boston, truthfully what does a few million matter in the end. Im no millionaire so im way outta touch but if he's TRULY happy in Boston, does that offset the few million difference? Like, im happy where I'm at making 7 million or ill go where I don't want to for 8-10 million? I could see it if he's was only making 1.5 million and we offered him 7, but from 7 to 8-10?

Brad sayin his guys need to be dying to win. Diving on the floor for loose balls. I thought to myself, has anyone in the NBA played like that since the 80s and early 90s? The way he talks about coaching, I dont see how he will last in the NBA. I'll admit I don't care about the NBA so maybe I'm wrong but the little I have seen, sure don't look like guys wanna dive on the floor.

Any possibility this is just everyone's way of saving face so he can finish Bostons season? No I'm not holding onto hope, just curious. The comments about feeling like he needs to see the season through coupled with the good vibes we were getting on here seem odd.
