I don't give a damn anymore, a lot of this bs is on the players. If they can go on a huge run at opening tip, they obviously can play that way. THEY choose to get lazy.

Let me just be clear, I hate my gut. But it is telling me after all we've seen from Glass that Crean is back next yr. As far as a new coach, I can definitely see Glass hiring what everyone thinks is a "2nd tier" candidate. I just have no faith he wants a banner like "we" do. I'm gonna go eat rat poison now.

My son and I rewatched the IU MICH game from last year where IU had the 28-0 run yesterday. It reiterated for me how awful we r right now. Yogi drew so many defenders when handling the ball that it just opened up everybody for easy buckets. Tom really dropped the ball not getting a true replacement for Yogi. Although Yogis are rare, at least a PG that demands help defense. Big miss on Crean.

I honestly think the only way Tom is back is if the few we are interested in replacing him aren't available at this time or this yr. I can see Glass playing it safe with who he has for another year to give plenty of time to sway a true candidate here.

Let's get this shirt for Glass. Kind of a hint when it comes to hiring a new coach ey?

You do understand that whoever we all truly want to take over will not get the job. Fred will go complete opposite just to eff with us.

As soon as I think of all these names flying around and some not really setting well with me, I catch myself realizing that we don't really know what these coaches could do with the resources at Indiana. Sure we can watch their current teams. Or judge their records in and out of the tournament. But we truly don't know what they could accomplish in the realm of what IU brings to the table. Point being, their current situation could be holding back their full potential as a coach. And unfortunately, alot of times finding the right fit is a trial and error type of thing. Reality.

I understand in today's world kids wanna get to the NBA and get there fast. But I want a coaching that can instil in the kids heads that winning for INDIANA is step number ONE if they r gonna play on the team. Don't come to IU if u aren't interested in playing to win for the team. Winners always look better. No matter what level is next, the next level coach wants kids that have won and know what it takes. Recruit kids that buy into winning for INDIANA as #1 priority.

Man, even if they CAN coach and have a proven track record, I don't want no 60+ yr old coach replacing crean. I like that 40-50 yr old range so if it's the type of guy we all want, he can be here for more than 5 yrs before being admitted to a nursing home.

The worst part of this crap storm we are in and possibly will hafta continue riding out for yrs is I personally would never be able to root for any team but Indiana. We could go winless for a season and I'd still hafta watch and pull for them. The program is like a damn family member to me. Just sucks. I really feel fortunate to have been able to witness the good yrs. I say it to my teenage son all the time, "buddy, I wish u could have seen them back when I was growing up!" It's sad.

Anyone think the team will take enough offense to creans comments to lay down extra hard now?
