(2018) PG Darius Garland to Vandy

So many things point to Darius coming to IU. His dad's comments about him knowing his decision for a few weeks, the family's reactions and comments post HH, Drew going to see him twice without Archie going once. To me that all points to IU. But I'm a family guy through and through and that family factor in this is driving me nuts. I really hope our luck changes and we can team up a great coach with great players once again so IU gets back where it belongs...#1! Go BIG RED! -

I think that's the amount of assists he is gonna have year 1 as a Hoosier. -

Let it be me! I'll gladly be wrong. I was just speaking in terms if things weren't to go our way. -

Right on, just in the event that it doesn't go our way is what I meant. -

So, let's man up and take it on the chin and move on to the next guy that wants to be a Hoosier. It's that easy. We are gonna have so many options going forward. Not sweating it. It's unfortunate, but not sweating it. -

Listening to post game with coach, I'm so happy we have a coach that is a no nonsense guy. Not worried about your name but worried about are you gonna do what I asked you to do. History repeats itself and step 1 for us is having a coach that demands what he wants or you just won' play. Step 2....Indiana boys being on the team. So far, so good. -

Just send him an 8×10 of his and his families faces as they walked onto our court. With a lil note saying...."Cut the ****, just commit!" Worth a shot. -

Archie isn't gonna roll over and play dead. He will show his face again before all is said and done. -

Who thinks that the fact Archie is only 39 yrs old makes him and IU more attractive? Do u think the kids feel more in tune with him being younger than a 50+ yr old coach? -

In all honesty, we are always gonna lose a few 5 stars to the likes of Duke etc. But under a young coach with actual playing experience if we can convince one 5 star that he can come in and be the man it will help to start a trend. And that's what we need. A trend started. We hafta give Arch a chance to get things going. I do believe from the coaching staff he has assembled mixed with the fact he could talk Collin into coming back that its, obvious he knows how to talk. We shall be fine -
Archie Miller's staff at Indiana will be Bruiser Flint, Tom Ostrom (Dayton) and Ed Schilling (UCLA),

I'm personally ready to have coaches back on the sidelines that demand respect. Demand the game be played the way it's been laid out for the players. Coaches that will get in the refs ear if things aren't going our way. Coaches that will get in our players ear when they they screw up. Tough love is still love. Just in a,way that says I mean freakin' business. I'm tired of the babying crap that goes on these days. -
Dakich in one sentence sounds like he wants no part of being affiliated with IU anymore and in the next sentence sounds like he is all for whatever decision they make. Just doesn't come across to me as an Alum at all.

"BIG TEN just sh*t their pants. (Chuckles)"
-
Oh good. They're gonna need SOMETHING!
-
Depends?
-
Get ready boys and girls. This is what we've been waiting for. He gon' be here for a looooong time. The rest of the BIG TEN better go get some preparation H cause we gon' blow their a$$es out!
-
Wouldn't doubt it eventually. But I gotta admit, I wasn't sure how I'd react not getting Billy but I'm actually stoked to have Archie.
-
And then there is Billy D after the IU job passes him by and Westbrook heads for the Lakers.
-
Archie saying to IU fans about his hire, "So, u guys all good with this?" "Cool, let's go kick some a$$!"
