Archie really wants to pull a Coach Knight head butt on some of these guys u can tell.

I've said this before, if u have a group of kids that just don't have the killer instinct and DESIRE to learn and win, the coach isn't gonna matter. This Hoosier team (for the most part) has never been that way. Under Crean and now Archie. They just dont want it bad enough. Most of us, i assume would be THRILLED with consistant hard effort. Then, if the talent isn't there to win most games then it is what it is. But we don't see HARD effort. We see give up attitude. No emotion, win or lose. For this reason, I'm not sweating Archies ability at all. He took Dayton talent to the tourney a few yrs straight. Let him get HIS kids on board and it' gonna happen. No doubt from me.

Doing this will in my opinion, will really help expose who is a good coach. Not that 3 and 4 star kids arent GREAT. We know playing division 1 ball, u hafta be amazing. But from a big picture, coaching talent will be MORE exposed I guess I should say.

Thinking maybe right under the 5 stars on our players shorts we could put a "ROMEO TO IU PLEASE?" embroidery?

5 stars aren't always the answer. Look at how many times Kentucky has won the championship under Cal. Hell we beat numerous 5 star loaded teams with CTC! We have a great coach now and I'll take our roster of solid 4 stars that wanna play as a team.

I just keep going back to if NEITHER coaching staff knows, but Drew went twice to see him and Archie didn't at all....that has to mean Archie is confident and Drew knows he had ground to make up. At least that's what I'm telling myself. :)

Tired of the coach getting most of the blame. It's apparent that these kids don't wanna play hard enough to win. Under Crean, or Archie. They Just aren't winners. You have to have a killer mentality and these kids dont. At least not enough for this level.

Start every freshman we have in 2nd half and bench guys. Period. If u don' wanna play, then dont.

Just laugh guys. At least you will feel better.

I'm really not stressing. This is only the beginning of what will be a lot of great years at IU. Check back in a couple years and this IF he chooses Vandy won't mean jack. We've got a coach most would die to have. Great kid, great player, but not gonna treat this as defining moment for the future of IU. Would love to have him but many more to come in the future.

I totally understand wanting to get an eye on Archie. But any future recruits hopefully realize that Archie is a coach most "Blue Bloods" would have reached out to if they had a coaching vacancy. That in itself says a lot about the coach we have been lucky enough to land and call OURS! He's a winner man, period!
