The percentage I'm worried about Archie being successful at IU........0% I think his ability to coach and recruit is kinda being overanalyzed because he just so happened to take over on a yr that the best over all recruit to come out of Indiana in some time has to make a choice in the next couple of months. We all want Romeo but I don't think Archie can be judged so quickly over Romeo alone.

May or may not have been the best way to say what I was thinking. Point being, I just see him as more of an old school type of basketball mind. Whether defense improves from current status or from Dayton times, I believe he TRIES to put defense as a higher priority than other coaches.

No way is he "mid major" quality. He is simply an actual BASKETBALL coach that still believes in good defense and running half court offensive sets. May not be the "modern way" but with kids that fit his style of play, he will be very successful imo.

Archie needs to go rob a couple of Drakes shooters.

I just keep believing the saying, "history repeats itself" and trusting we once again become the force we once were. It'll happen.....eventually.

If we just had ONE consistent shooter to even out DeRon and Morgan down low. We'd be more well rounded. We just don't have true scoring guards at all. Kills us

I'm looking for any sign of improvement regardless. That will show we have the right coach moving forward....which imo is exactly what we have in Arch!

I don't know, I've kinda lost most of my interest in this recruitment. Not saying I wouldn't be STOKED if we got Romeo. I have just been paying a lot of attention to our coach. I guess for me i see a coach that is so passionate mixed with great understanding of the game that I'm somewhat relaxed and just willing to trust he will get the job done with whoever DOES come to IU. I really do have that kinda faith in Archie. But that's just my opinion.

Yeah to me it's pretty obvious that Archie has to recruit players based on who is going to work within his style. Not every 5* is gonna fit that bill. If he succeeds at getting the kids that maximize what he is trying to accomplish on the court, we will DEFINITELY win. Just like a hot chick. U can fool around with her, but that doesn't mean she is marriage material. We need kids who are marriage material.
