https://basketballrecruiting.rivals.com/news/signing-late-is-the-plan-for-trayce-jackson-davis Really hoping this is a bluff... First time I've actually been nervous with this recruitment. -

I feel stupid for not noticing that. -

Maybe an author choice, but interesting that Indiana was listed and discussed first. -

Perhaps you can reword it to suit your agenda? Curious what that would look like. -

He said develop; not use. Why would Juwan be a better comparison when he's a four year player? I don't get why it's such a bad thing for a one and done to want to see how a coach develops his first one and done. -

Can't believe he wants to share a cafeteria with others sports. -

It is a fact that thousands of kids have the same opinion. -

Judging from Peegs, it seems like we are pursuing Anthony Harris still. But guard options are becoming pretty slim. -

Fair to draw conclusions based on the other schools that were recruiting him? (I am thinking about Miami and Louisville in particular. And Tech under Beard is too early to tell, but wouldn't be shocking) -

Considering that his last official is less than a month away, I would say "close", but I can understand how people's definitions vary. Cutting Wake is very telling; he is not trying to waste too many people's time. -

From a pure geographic perspective, I would imagine TJD is first. -

Methinks he gave the answer that the interviewer was looking for. Methinks he will commit to Indiana University after his last official visit to East Lansing and sign during the November period. -
Probably somewhere in the middle. I think with his build he will develop into a very good defender and by extension a solid 6th man as a junior and senior.

Think Caleb Love is getting a lot of attention of the names listed in that ESPN update. -
Why were you not railing against this recruitment when he was #137 and had a fourth star next to his name?

(2019) PF - Zeke Nnaji to Arizona
goonaha replied to Class of '66 Old Fart's topic in Indiana Basketball Recruiting Forum
I know I'll get shouted down, but I really don't see Brooks, TJD, and Zeke all coming. I feel good about both Brooks and TJD, which makes the two picks for Zeke intriguing/uncomfortable. Yes, I know they could theoretically be 3,4,5 on the court, but I don't like it for class balance. Should be a 3 man class, one guard (Harris, Bouknight, Franklin/Newman, Ramsey, etc.), two forwards (Brooks and TJD). -
How dare they? The horror!

Let me tell you, the game is the game. Some might not like to hear it, but it's the truth. -

So what's the criteria for an indianaranger recruit? Clearly, one of them is that the recruitment can't go past the July before the recruit's senior season. So that wipes probably 75% of the top 100 off the board, maybe more (I don't feel like crunching the numbers). -

Can you just confirm to us that you actually get more enjoyment out of negative news than positive? You seem to love coming out of the woodwork on all of the IU boards any time there's something you can spin negatively. -

Memphis wasn't in the picture when they asked Archie to start recruiting him. Penny (and by connection, Mike Miller) hadn't been hired yet. -

None of those kids have committed either. Therefore, they are pulling crap and I don't want them. You're not a real Hoosier unless you commit on the spot when our lord and savior Archie Miller offers you the scholarship.
