That was obvious listening to him and I have no info.

This statement basically confirms what I thought in a very nice professional way.

This one's on Dane as I think. I have no insider info, but he rubbed me as a no at all jack @$$ this year. Not being mean but this was reality every time I heard him speak. Seemed like he was acting like a child among adults in the room and I know for a fact he was not well liked at MSU.

Mike Woodson and His Coaching Staff

I don't consider Fife leaving or Lander transferring bad news or wrecking momentum. Fife has rubbed me the wrong way all year and at MSU he was not liked at all. Lander can't play at all. We may get some bad news eventually but I don't consider either of these a problem or stalling momentum. -

Outside of Perkins and sometimes Brehmer this team can't pitch and we still don't have a good answer why the same pitchers from last year have gotten worse. -

Charlotte did not belong on same floor as IU and Hoosiers made quick work of them. 6,389 is very disappointing crowd relatively speaking. I am aware not to long ago the team would of killed for that, but when you had two crowds over 7k this year you would like to match that at minimum and they did not. Hopefully Hoosier Nation shows out better Monday. People who were there were loud and it was a good atmosphere but they deserved to at minimum get to 8k today if not more and fell well short. I am imploring more fans to show up Monday and if you are anywhere near Bloomington go. -

This Princeton team is no joke but UK is incredibly to cocky for their own good and fell victim to it. IU's A game beats Princeton's A game but anything less could spell trouble. -

Great team can score. They still can't pitch and the pitchers who were good last year have gotten worse. Whether it is Glant or something else the team better figure out why this team suddenly can't pitch and everyone has gotten worse who is on the mound. -
IU is doing very well in weekday games since they have a good offense and their back end pitching depth is OK. The problem though is they still don't have good weekend starters (outside Perkins) and when they face top end pitching talent they cannot win the weekend pitching duals.

Women are three seed and drew a tough path with a red hot UK team who they destroyed in second round. Holmes was terrific in that game and UK has no answer for her so hopefully she is healthy,. Than UConn In Connecticut. Rough draw but glad they got NC State who they can play with and did early this year and not South Carolina as their one seed.

As I have said this new pitching coach needs to figure out what is going on. Mudungo is literally the most talented pitcher on the team and has been garbage. Other than Perkins I am very unimpressed with this staff and pitching has always been a strong suit that has suddenly turned into a weakness. Speaks very poorly of Dustin Glant and him being hired. These are same pitchers mostly and some of them have gotten much worse. Very bad. -
BTT Game Thread: Indiana vs. Illinois 3/11 - 11:30 am on BTN
Aaron replied to IUc2016's topic in Indiana Men's Basketball
Just an FYI that crowd won't be all IU fans tomorrow. It was today basically, but Illinois will travel well and are close by so it will be 80-20 IU. Will be very similar to what the women's big ten championship was. Was 95-5 IU for first three days than Iowa was 80-20. This will be enough for a somewhat neutral atmosphere like IU-Iowa was. Get to Saturday against Iowa or Rutgers and you are back at 95-5. -
Can you explain which games went against IU today? must have missed it.
-
Team rounding into form. IU up 7-0 in 7th. Cincy gifted IU five runs in first with many walks in a row without a hit while IU was just a passenger, but team looking better. Hayden needs to move to the Saturday spot with Perkins Friday and Mudungo Sunday with how each one is pitching. Let Brehmer have weekdays as I still don't trust hem yet. Gotten to the point where I have confidence in Perkins and Hayden as starters and know Mudungo has it in him. Rest of guys still make me uncomfortable but hopefully may be improving.

Team will most likely pass Tennessee or Maryland for a 3. Don't listen to Creme who is not very good. Autumn Johnson is much better at it and moved IU to a 3: https://www.ncaa.com/news/basketball-women/article/2022-03-08/bracketology-2022-ncaa-womens-tournament-bracket-predictions-less-week

I would like to say while I have no expectations, women may have finally broken Big Ten Tourney hex for both sides and both have been equally bad before this year. Just third appearance by either team in a final ever, third appearances on Saturday since 2007 for either side, and first time since 2006 either team has won at least two games. Hopefully a good omen. -

For this weekend yes but that one bad inning cost you a game. Also, this bullpen still scares me and the starters outside Perkins still not doing well enough. It was better this weekend for sure but there are still questions if this team can pitch well enough. -

Not surprising. My dad is the same way learning English at 10. If you learn a language early enough in life (generally pre-puberty and 12 is just barely early enough) even as a second one you will speak as well as a native. -

Did enough. Ali had her best game in a while which was absolutely needed. Grace was good as usual. That was enough today against a Rutgers team that cannot score. Need everyone to be good tomorrow to have chance. -

Hate Brehmer starting. He actually has the stamina to go longer than the others, but is just not a great pitcher. He was a mediocre as starter at Wright State and not sure how he gets better in Big Ten. Having Brehmer starting on a weekend tells you what a mess IU's starting staff is right now. They have good arms but not guys with stamina to throw starter level innings.
