Once again...look at it thru the eyes of the 'current' highest rated PG in the 2021 class. Would he want to share time with 2 other guys playing the same position? I highly doubt it. Even if there are two on the floor together, someone is losing out on minutes, not including a shooter that could be signed by then. I believe that a senior Al and sophmore Armaan could handle the job for one season.

Tend to disagree although Love is now no issue. Another highly serviceable PG that wouldn't be leaving after a year, or RP remaining into his senior season creates a log jam at that position unless Lander is recruited as a 1/2. He would have 2 players to sit behind his Freshman year. A player projected as high as Lander would of course welcome competition...but why if he can get alot of playing time elsewhere. We have to look at it thru his eyes, not ours.

Tom Ostrom was in Sellersburg to see Kaufman yesterday ahead of weekend Jr OV.

Would love to see CAM lock up Lander early. Assure him that we will stop looking for another highly rated PG if he were to commit early. I think we are leading with him at this point but let him know that the search continues unless we get an answer.

Pass. Dude shoots 21% from 3pt range. At least find someone that can knock down an open look when presented.

Though red-shirted last season, he has had ample opportunity to work on his shooting touch while recovering from his injury. Hope this is reflective in percentages. But, with moving the 3pt line, all bet off.

If he has been running pickup games throughout the summer, I bet that he is farther along than what we may be told. Maybe CAM is tempering expectations somewhat. He knows that the fanbase was expecting big things from Hunter.

Guess he doesn't want to disclose too much afraid that he may give up his supposed sources.

Would like some updated news on Jerome Hunter. I think he could be the most pivotal piece this upcoming season.

Establish a winning vibe with the kind of recruits that we are getting now, and that is not a problem. You can put all the great recruits on the floor all you want, and if you don't know your X's and O's or player development, getd you nowhere.

Would we take Kenny Johnson after the Louisville debacle. Nothing was proven but he was with Jordan Fair in Vegas and surely knew what was up. I personally think he has always played the game as much as the programs he had been at would let him. Troy Williams comes to mind for a few. Personally I could care either way.

Seriously. Recruiting criticisms? Two outta three classes with a 5* player. Hell, CAM has only 3 classes period. A mid-major coach comes in to a program that has lost its luster to most of everyone outside of the state and you are expecting him to be able to load up on top 50 players. Besides, after the top 30 or so, rankings are pure guesswork. Look at the programs that offered or was considering Galloway and Leal. Not like it was bottom feeders.

They are not needed to at this point. You have a So RP, a Fr TJD, a redshirt FR Hunter. It will be on them to create an excellent squad. Leal and Galloway are just pieces to the puzzle. The kind that you must have.
