Can't say enough about how well Franklin has played tonight. Archie showing the trust tonight late in this game and he has performed well.

He has been pretty decent on D tonight also.

There are rumors abound that this may have to do with a disagreement with Ewing over how Akinjo was reacting over a benching. Ewing questioned his toughness and made a comment about Akinjo's mother (who is deceased). Akinjo, upset with the comment decided to transfer. Of course the school makes it a disciplinary action.

Good question! I was high on Ajinko when we offered. We were late to the show. I watched him quite a few times in HS and liked his game. Played well at GU too. Was league Freshman POY.

There is also a kid named Gardner who had a TRO filed against him in Sept. That must be a real sh*t show going on up there. I've been all over the Hoya boards and can't find out any info on why Ajinko left. He was supposedly best friends with LeBlanc. Maybe not happy about GU letting him go? Nowhere is there any info that he was involved with any of these situations.

Agreed. It just seemed that Franklin thought out of the gate that he was supposed to be the team shooter today. He came out chuckn' and missed 3 of the teams first 4 shots. Alot of turnovers wasn't the passes, it was the butterfingers down in the post. DD couldn't catch a cold today. But, they do need to work on the entry passes to the post and getting the cutters the ball in the right places.

Ugly ugly ugly. No positives from this game except that the real season is about to start, and TJD! This game just started out bad when Franklin thought this game was his personal shooting gallery. He needs to head straight to Cook Hall and get up about 500 more shots. None of the 500 he took today looked any good.

It just gets old listening to the 'good Devonte vs 'bad Devonte. It should just be Devonte. We know what we are going to get with him. The last 5 or 6 games last season until the 2nd half of this game was some of the best he has played for us. One bad half, in which just about everyone looked like crap, we've got 'bad Devonte! With RP out, he handled the ball alot more than we have suspected that he would. Even with Al on the floor, Green initiated a large portion of the offense in the second half. I would suspect that is not CAMs vision of what he plans for Green but what was needed for that game. Everyone on here envisioned him as our leading scorer and #1 option this season. Damnit, shooters are going to shoot! With exception of the to's his stat line was well within what we would hope.

Yes because there are too many on here that will not change their opinions on certain players ie Smith and Green even if they put up 20+ but have a few turnovers.

Yeah those numbers show one thing on paper but...he should have about 4/5 more assists on missed point blank shots down low from last game. That would be a 2:1 rate.

I do worry that RP hasn't looked as sharp as I expected. Maybe lack of practice time early on.

I would imagine Phin. Offensively his shot not falling like I would have hoped. He did play some good defense but did get showed some upper classman shake and bake moves. I did however like the 3 charging fouls that he took during the game. He has done that regularly thru the first 6 games. Not afraid to take a hit. These minutes will pay dividends when we need it down the line.
