Kent Sterling column today makes mention that during Arkansas game, several times plays were called from the bench that weren't run correctly or weren't ran at all. Freelancing or individual wants during portions of that game. Green? Will we see shorter leashes? If that was the case, sure hope so. Of course there will be detractors if that would happen.

No I'm not satisfied. But my expectations was not to be 13-0 right now. I knew coming into this season that there were holes in this team. I knew that guard play would be adequate at best. It's so freaking easy for people to say 'why did we not recruit shooters'. We did recruit them but they chose to go other places. You can only convince a player so much and then the decision is theirs. Archie had offers out to some high level players. They chose elsewhere. If he would not have recruited them choosing instead to go after lower rated ones that may have committed , then this board would be up in arms about not aiming for higher rated ones. Alot of times its a no win situation with posters here. I don't need to get into our teams' goods and bads. Believe me, it is discussed thoroughly enough here. I do know one thing though... a good fan (no slight to you) at least watches the games before offering up their opinions and at least they know what the freaking record is lol!

So many points to ponder going both directions. I will still say though that most all on here thought prior to the season if we were 10-2 heading into Jan most would have been extremely happy. But now here we are talking how bad this team is, how bad player development is, how horrible this hire was etc etc. There is no satisfying this fanbase.

Who? If you are referring to TJD they are different type of players. Hunter maybe. He hasn't showed that he can shoot or he is even ready to contribute that much yet. Justin Smith...well, we lnow what we get there. No consistency. Besides, we may only have TJD for 2yrs the way he is projecting. I believe that we will have 4 spots available. PG and another big, definitely a freakn shooter whether a wing or SG. I wouldn't consider Kaufman a 5, but we can use another 4 also.

Roberts with his foot in the door now. I think it is too early to call UofL an overwhelming favorite. Alot of times, a brother likes to forge their own path.

So, are you saying that Kaufman is over-rated at #30 or that IU doesn't need an instate player that is rated that high? If his ranking is close to being accurate, IU needs him!

I put this collapse on me! Out with the whole family celebrating 3 of our birthdays at our favorite sports bar. Donning my favorite IU gear we were rolling. Open up some presents and my son gave me some new IU swag. Low and behold a totally AWESOME new Hoosiers hat. Like an idiot I swapped out the dome cover. From 17pts up to down by 3pts, I realized what I had done and told my son the jinx was on. Threw the new hat back in the bag, put the old one back on and the rest is history. Wasn't pretty, but we survived and I felt the relief of knowing that I didn't cost us that one lol! Sorry that I cost us the spread though. That's on me!

Never been to Brookville Lake. Heard there is great bass and walleye there.

This came out of Otter Creek just outside of Louisville near Ft Knox. There are 2 areas where you get alot of fisherman. I however, like to hike the stream and hit alot of areas that aren't fished so much. Some rugged trails and the old guys don't like to wade that much. A few honey holes I have away from the masses.

Caught a real nice bag of Rainbows Friday. This was about average size. Had a real nice 23in 2.5 lb one. One of the biggest trout that I have landed down here in Northern KY. Too bad its catch and release season. About 15 would have made a nice family dinner.
