    Kevin Wilson Resigned

I have to start this by saying I don't have a law degree but, 5. Even if he was fired without cause he only would have recieved his base salary of 542k for the duration of his contract, not the the full 12 mil, right? 6. If he gets a new coaching gig we only have to pay him to make up the difference if he makes under 542k, 100 head coaches and 60 assistants made over that last year and with his offensive background and success at OU as OC and success with IU's offenses, it seems he could land a pretty good OC job at least. So, couldn't he have accepted the guranteed payment we offered for this year and be betting on himself to land a new gig this year and have an extra 542k from us that he wouldn't have gotten even if we fired him without cause?

    Kevin Wilson Resigned

Kevin Wilson resigning instead of being fired was essentially him betting on himself that he can get a job for next year. I'm not saying there isn't more to it, but saying there HAS to be more to it because he walked away from so much money isn't true

    Kevin Wilson Resigned

That's false, had he not taken this resignation deal he would've been fired. If he was fired he would have made his base salary until he got a new coaching job and someone with his offensive mind/track record will get a job. So basically if he goes out and gets a job for next season he makes the money from IU for a year on top of his new contract, if he would've got fired he would've only gotten his new contract. Pretty sure if the rumors were all true he could have been fired with cause and not gotten a dime from us.

    2017 IUFB Recruiting

One of my roommates little brothers play on Clark's HS team, only ever heard positive things about him. If we could land him it would be great. Good kid with a great arm. Don't think he's a good fit in an Urban Meyer offense, I think a CKW offense is pretty ideal for him.

You Bears fans are getting ahead of yourselves with the talk of the #1 pick, my Browns are doing everything they can to secure that pick.

Indiana vs Iowa Post Game Thread

I always see opposing teams talking about getting no calls while IU gets all the calls at The Hall, but I don't see it. Yogi doesn't do the best job of going after contact and drawing fouls, but I feel like he still should get more calls then he does. Thomas Bryant's 4th foul seemed like an absolute crap call to me as well. It's seems like players that are strong and can fight through contact instead of flop around like James Harden get punished in today's rules. Yogi should be able to get to the line at will but he doesn't always look to go after contact and draw fouls but even when he does he doesn't get calls he should, home or away, imho. What do you guys think?
  7. talked to a woman in a #8 jersey, I think she said she was his mom, and she said he is healthy and ready to go

    TOM CREAN FIRED

I know it's really really early and the standings are extremely tight right now but the Celtics are in 7th in the East. I would love to see them fall to the 8th seed and get swept by my Cavs in the first round and miss out on the small chance in the lottery. Also really rooting for the Nets to win some games and somehow make somthing happen to make that pick as low as possible for the C's. Anything that will help show BS the C's are gonna be stuck in the first round of the playoffs for awhile.

IU All-Star Line Up (Only During Your Time)

Born in 96, started paying a little attention in 2004 but really became a big time fan in 2007. Grew up in Ohio the son of a former IU football player brainwashed to hate all things OSU and worship all things IU. Starters G: Bracey Wright: he is the first Hoosier I remember rooting for and for some reason I absolutely loved him. He will forever be one of my favorite Hoosiers. G: Eric Gordon: He is one of the main reasons I fell in love with IU basketball. G: Mo Creek: I remember watching him drop 31 on pUKe and instantly falling in love only to be heartbroken by his struggles with injuries, still wish he woulda finished a Hoosier F: Cody Zeller: I will never forget him committing to IU and my older brother telling me that he was gonna be the savior of IU. F: DJ White: my all-time favorite IU athlete Bench G: Yogi: I know he's had his issues but I don't even want to imagine these last 3 years if we didn't have him. Also, I think being in Ohio and hearing OSU fans complain about him being here for seamingly 6 years helps my love for Yogi G: Matt Roth: I used to get so excited everytime he came in to see if he'd hit a three from even further than I had seen from him before F: James Hardy: I know he doesn't really count, but I am from a football family in Ohio F: Christian Watford: I loved him for so many reasons and will always be sad I didn't get to see the Kentucky game live, I was on a bus coming home from a wrestling tournament(I know wrestling and basketball don't mix but I gave up on playing basketball in middle school when I realized I was a slow and short kid who couldn't jump or shoot)
