I tend to believe that if we lost out including losing the first game in the tournament a change would have been made.

I think it changes a lot.

At least he put Malik in and took out Mgbako. Can’t have Mgbako on the floor at least on defense late in games.

Absolutely. Just because they chose to run it back this year doesn’t mean those players won’t go elsewhere even if he ends up back at FAU. He’s the guy I want, and it will be so frustrating if he ends up someplace else next season.

I also believe he will certainly be back next season. What I will be most fascinated about concerns Dusty May. If Woodson walked away today I think he would be our next head coach. I think other programs will be interested in him this year. Last year he remained committed to FAU. He certainly has to be at least aware what’s going on at IU at the moment as far as our record and not making the tournament. Will he stay committed at FAU? I believe he will at least for another year, but what if another program makes an offer he just can’t refuse? He could go to another program next year and bring several members of his FAU team with him and do very well. It will be fun to see what happens.

I would rather see Leal start (him and Gallo play well off each other). Mgbako shouldn’t be starting but obviously will. I would be fine with Gunn getting a DNP if that means more minutes for Leal.

You and 7 others want us to lose out? Nah. I’m not built like that. This team, with the schedule we have left, still has a chance to get in the tournament and I will never root for IU to lose in any sport or event. Go Hoosiers.

It took him almost all year to #Free Leal. The realtor has won him two games. I’m only half kidding, but after Gunn lit it up in garage time against Purdue Woody could give him big minutes next game and forget about Leal.

I don’t see Woody wanting to stick around for any role other than head coach. I do however, think that if the right voices get to him and tell him that getting Dusty May this year is the ‘bridge’ he was referring to when he was hired that he would be willing to start enjoying his retirement.

Good first post. I think he will get offers, probably several. I also think he is happy where he is and knows full well the situation at IU and could simply choose to stay at FAU one more year and wait to see if the one job he really wants becomes open.

I would encourage anyone who wants us to play fast and shoot threes but doesn’t want Dusty May to read the article. I would also encourage anyone that doesn’t want Dusty May because he is not always jumping up and down on the sidelines to read the article. He is going to get a job somewhere if he wants it or he could choose to stay where he is. He will have a lot of options. The job he really covets isn’t open yet.

I don’t want to see CMW fired. However if he decides to retire and we get Dusty May I would be ecstatic. I can see us winning out at home and getting a couple on the road putting us on the bubble. There is still a lot of season left.
