As a female I can tell you that when I logged in and saw this thread I just rolled my eyes and moved along at first. Not because she can’t coach, as I’m sure P. Gasol is correct and she should be considered for any head coaching opening that come up in the PROS. I fully hope and expect her to be a head coach VERY soon in the PROS. I have no interest in her just like I have no interest in K. Smart. But then I find myself not against the idea of Woodson with the right assistant (M. Lewis) so I don’t know lol. I’m sure that for any of you that have read my posts know I’m 100% Beilein (with Lewis or Fife). So idk maybe I just like older men lol.

I think it’s been said he (and his wife) would have zero interest so it’s a moot point.

I wish it was a Wellness Day for me. Are the Ducks going to drop 100 on them?

That concerns me too but not if it’s Michael Lewis or Dane Fife sitting beside him. I put Beilein right there at the top with Izzo and I can’t stand Izzo lol.

I know that’s true. That’s why I really like Beilein with a Fife/Lewis. I don’t really remember the last time I saw Matta in college. The last time I saw Beilein he was jumping around with his players in the locker room in the Final Four. I just have more of a feeling that Beilein gets us knocking on the door to a Final Four in a couple years. I don’t get that same feeling with Thad Matta. I know the feelings of a 22 year old girl don’t matter much though lol. That’s just where I’m at and I trust that Dolson will get it right.

Thank you so much for digging that up lol. I still take Beilein all day if it came down to the two of them. A lot has changed. But I’m not going against the Hova. His picture scares me.

I don’t want Porter Moser. That wasn’t my point but since you mentioned it one is doing it right now the other hasn’t done anything for several years.

John Beilein coaches circles around Thad Matta so as I said in the Michael Lewis thread I like Beilein/Lewis.

I like me some Michael Lewis. I wasn’t alive for most of his playing days but that’s why I have older brothers. Big time scorer in high school that changed the way he played at IU for RMK because that’s what we needed him to be to become all time IU assist leader before Yogi. The kind of guy that is the ultimate competitor and the kind of guy that doesn’t back down. He changes the culture at IU immediately. I’m 100% John Beilein with Michael Lewis as the lead assistant until Beilein retires and then it’s Lewis. That’s where I’m at. I don’t see it happening though. Not because it’s too far fetched. Michael Lewis should probably already be a head coach somewhere and after this UCLA run probably will be so Dolson would probably have to move fast for this to happen. Oh and I don’t care that he played at Jasper - sorry @Chris007
