Better than Kansas or Bama. Best we could have hoped for if you want to look that far ahead.

A couple of big surprises for me is Houston higher than Kansas and no Rutgers. I really like where we are and our path while that’s a nightmare road for Purdue.

Oral Roberts was a popular pick. Not anymore lol.

Kent St. is going to be a problem but if we get by them that’s about the best path we could have hoped for.

I think things change next year. CMW said when he was hired he wants to play 1 in and 4 out. It’s not a team of ‘his’ guys right now. Race is still one of our top 5 players and I think once he graduates and CMW continues to get the players he wants things will look a little different.

If we defend without fouling I think we will be fine. Not too concerned about our offense but our defense and rebounding have got to be better.

What about trying to go smaller in the second half? Give Banks some minutes and see what happens. We are getting caught with bad matchups on defense with how they play. We are lucky they didn’t make a few more of their open threes and we are only down 8.

Keep punishing them inside. They have no answers there.

Describing something kind of unnecessary with some of your posts is pretty rich.

Does IU winning the next two pass UConn? Or maybe it’s more like it should be enough to pass them but by Sunday the committee wants it wrapped up.

I sometimes wonder if you read what I post. I literally said I respect JG as a student athlete. I just criticize his play and have always seen him more as an athlete that’s playing basketball. I stand by what I said that this level is not the right place for him. So no he didn’t kick my dog and he is not Trey Galloway so I wouldn’t be interested. As far as Race goes I acknowledged he made some stupid mistakes. He also more often than not follows up his mistakes with a winning play. He has been clutch in several games late that have enabled us to win. Race Thompson is not a problem and I always want him on the floor closing out games. I said nothing about Malik but after a shaky start he played a great game. I have been a big fan of his all year.

I have been pretty hard on his play in the past and said he shouldn’t be getting any minutes and have said I don’t think he is a B10 caliber player and whatnot. However I have never had a problem with him as a student athlete. But unless their is more to that photo of him last night on the bench I don’t want to see him in an Indiana uniform again. Banks should have been playing over him anyway but will be interesting to see if CMW goes to him again after that performance or turns to Banks. We all know what I’m hoping for. I feel so bad for X. He knows this team could be pretty special and it’s absolutely killing him not being out there with his boys most of who will be graduating and leaving him behind. I hope he uses that and comes back next year and crushes it.

That’s funny considering we are closer to 3 than 5.

Race made some stupid mistakes and the missed free throws the other night were tough to take but he is still our best option late in games at his position. He has a track record for making winning plays late in games and more often than not follows up a dumb mistake with a play or bucket we need. Race is good and the least of our problems.

I don’t know much about football except what boyfriends have told me but I know enough that their is no chance and I mean zero that the owner doesn’t take a quarterback when it’s our turn to pick whoever is left to take.

TJD is so good at basketball. No way Edey or anyone else does all the things he does. It’s ridiculous.

Scott is lowering the shoulder repeatedly and CMW complains. Race does it and Scott flops and Race picks up his 3rd foul and has to go to the bench.

The starters need to play the last 20. No bench. I get it’s a tournament but you have to win the first one.

He should have never been in the game. Still shocked CMW called his number. His number should never be called again.

Geronimo and Bates are completely lost on defense. Geronimo has no business playing in this game.

It looks like we got our legs back. Great start and Maryland looks a little rattled.
