They didn’t call much the whole game. Horrible call.

The problem is they hadn’t called that all game. This game was physical. How are players supposed to know what they can get away with? Players also know they can get away with a little extra at the end of games. I don’t care who won but don’t like it. Also breaking out a manual stopwatch and comparing it to the clock at the arena is ridiculous.

That almost never gets called at the end of games.

I was literally just making a fun comment. I’m not saying bring Fife back and I don’t think Chris wants Davis back as an assistant under May lol.

Essegian is fine. Girard is way better. No to Furst and Essegian together. I don’t want Furst here with Malik.

He has built a freaking program at FAU. Not even comparable to Archie at Dayton. He is in position to win a championship there and could decide to stay there for awhile and choose what job he wants. People are different.

Not Furst and Essegian. I don’t want Furst at all under any circumstances. Now if we were to go get Girard from Syracuse and feature him at the two guard along with X and Malik then surround them with athletic wings that are dawgs and play defense like those guys at FAU that’s a team that is good enough. Malik and X are good enough as starters and their are plenty of portal guys to pair with them to have a dangerous team. Just have to get the right ones which is hard to do but not impossible. They are out there.

I’m excited. I like them Owls! I would much rather see Trey still playing :(

He has been building something at FAU. This is his best team by far but this year didn’t just come out of nowhere.

Out of all the names I have seen so far I really want Girard. Go get him and a couple of skilled athletic wings that can play and we are in business.

We have targeted some big time players if the names we are connected to are true. I’m talking about starters and guys that are going to get paid to play basketball after college. Duncomb is already gone. Bates is a role player at best and Geronimo shouldn’t be sniffing playing time. We will not get every player we target out of the portal but we will get some of our targets and all are an upgrade over the likes of Bates and Geronimo.

Those players mentioned are in no way a lateral move. That’s not even close. They are far superior basketball players.

I have to completely disagree about his hustle. He got out worked for boards just as much as TJD and Race. If their is one guy that goes after the ball and always put himself in the mix it’s Kaleb Banks. Geronimo has had plenty of run and chances over three years. He got a short leash in games because he was really bad. He’s always out of position and makes really stupid mistakes. He has trouble catching the ball and making any type of basketball move. He has been given too much time and too many chances in my opinion. His issues are completely different than JHS running hot and cold with his jumper. Geronimo is who I always thought he was from day one and that’s an athlete playing basketball. Shoot I mean their were some people on here thinking he was going to be the next Victor Oladipo. I am never fooled by all the athleticism. You have to be able to have basketball skills and be able to play. I wish him nothing but the best but if he does transfer I hope it’s a much smaller school. I would be shocked if he went to a big time P5 program and killed it as you say.

Your last paragraph is an accurate description of Kaleb Banks.

I know it wasn’t directed at me and I have no idea how long CMW wants to keep coaching but May is already the real deal. Their is a very real chance the Owls could be playing on 4/3.

Oh I agree. That’s what I’m saying. He literally got too many chances. I thought from the first moment I saw him that this was too big for him. It surprises me that some still think he should be getting minutes and the talk about him not getting enough chances is just not true.

I think we all know how I feel about Geronimo. He got a lot of chances. I agree that Bates hasn’t lived up to his ranking.

I will keep it simple. Those potential two losses are a positive not a negative. I wish them luck.
