I don't know if this kid has been talked about yet but his name is Landon Jordan and he plays for 2A Churubusco. The kid transferred to 'Busco from FW Concordia and wasn't eligible to play until the 2nd semester this year. I first caught him on the Fort Wayne news after the holidays. 6-8 kid. His highlights involve him dunking in games from what I have seen on TV. I know nothing about him other than what I have seen on WANE. I do know this...that conference is as good as any in the state when talking 2A. Just someone to keep an eye on that is/has been under the radar. If he has been mentioned I apologize.

Somewhere in this discussion is the fact that Benson lobbied for Mike Davis after his interim year with a mic in his hand on the floor of Assembly Hall. I remember it well. So thanks when it comes to Benny analyzing IU basketball at this point in time. He didn't do it well then so he ain't no expert now. With all that being said. Mike has proven to be a winner at subsequent stops, albeit not IU caliber programs. IU compounded their first mistake with another by hiring Sampson and the baggage he brought with him. But he was/is a winner at big time programs and will probably get another marquis gig in the future. As to who we should have got after Davis' 1st year? We had all kinds of possibilities to choose from.

The issues at Fort Wayne North soured me...I said as much. He arrived to go to an away game and the HC told him to go home. I don't care what he can play...I don't want him.

First off, ole "Bennie" can suck on my big 7". He was the creator of this problem we have now. I remember it well. That being said, seems to me we are 14-4 and in the top half of the conference standings in what appears to be the toughest league in the nation. Geez, I have seen winning more than most of you. This ground swell to fire Arch is total BS.

It is an honest question that has been brought up on several boards. No harm in getting feedback to it.

I got a bad taste in my mouth when KBJ had that issue with "FW North" his Jr. year. Following year he transfers to LaLu and the North HC leaves. Then "Baby Brooks" ends up at New Haven High. Bad taste in my mouth for sure. Wish the kid well...but I don't want him.

Well, joking aside. A few more days of this cold weather that I am receiving here and I will venture out. But I won't take my dog.

Honestly, I am not concerned about the polls. They don't mean diddly squat. Should we be ranked? I really dunno. All I know is we got destroyed on the road, twice. Now if we beat the two teams that destroyed us in re-matches then those blowouts are a wash. And can anybody come up with a Top 25 that none of us could pick apart?
