Don't ask the postman...that is word for word what was on NBC this morning. Haven't been back to see if they updated it or not.

You left out Markle kids going to Norwell. But in my lifetime HN has pretty much been blah. They have have a few good teams. The Paul and Reeder years. Sean Kline(who I coached at the Y when he was little). Chris Kramer. But they just are never consistent. But you never know, this very well could be their year.

Per NBC.... INDIANA (NET: 58, SOS: 179): Look, I get it. Indiana is 15-14 on the season. They are 6-12 in the Big Ten. They have been a massive disappointment based off of what the expectations were for this team back in November. But after knocking off No. 6 Michigan State in Bloomington on how many teams in all of college basketball can match these five wins: A sweep of Michigan State (6), Wisconsin (15), Marquette (21), Louisville (25). They also won at Penn State (50) and beat Butler (55) on a neutral. Overall, Indiana is 6-9 in Q1 games. All 14 of their losses have come against Q1 and Q2 competition. And in a year where we are talking about teams without anything even remotely close to a quality win on their resume, Indiana, at the very least, is in the thick of the conversation.

That might be, but Huntington North is a county school. They take in the entire county. They are a huge school, but seem to lack on producing talent. Not cutting on them because I lived in Warren for 15 years. So I witnessed it first hand.
-
The one that peaks my interest is the Wabash/Frankton match-up.
-
Meh, Huntington North historically has been bad.

Got a good one up north tonight. Jimtown sectional final. Culver Academy vs. Mishawaka Marian.

Whoa, none of that is what I was saying at all. Knight took freshmen, put them in his system and won. Went to the Elite Eight in 84, correct? Took a bunch of frosh into the NCAAT in '90, correct? Those young guys didn't know his system, correct? But your narrative is patience and give Tony as one example, correct? You are preaching patience, correct? Excuse me, you do have a narrative.
-
Just keep posting your narrative...I am cool with that.
-
Playing freshmen that were not accustomed to Knight's system...just playing devil's advocate here.
-
Now compare that with IU's 83-84 season or 89-90's.

IU Scott is that you?

High school team unique nicknames

This ain't unique, it is just odd. Columbia City's nickname is the Eagles.....go about 10 miles up the road to Churubusco. Their nickname is the Eagles. Same county. Neighboring school districts. Just odd. -

Nice post and I completely agree. It all started with the Davis hire. -

And I know guys that went to both of those schools. Definitely unique nicknames. Can't believe I forgot about them. -
Yes, there is a dim light at the end of this very dark tunnel.
