  1. I was actually okay with it last year because it at least showed that he cared about it. Too many of guys who didn't seem to.
  2. McRoberts more than anything was given so much time because of other player lack of development or misses in scouting. I like McRoberts, but I'm hoping he isn't being counted on next year to play the kind of minutes he played last year.
  3. I would agree except the way the game is called and the rules they have in place, I don't see how that legitimately is done to any large degree. No reset magnifies a couple of questionable early calls in a half. I'm for reducing the effects of TV Teddies out there.
  4. I just don't see Moore being the sixth man even if TB stays in the draft.
  5. Mr. Gorbachev...tear down this wall.
  6. One note -- there has been discussion by the NBA of having 30 D league teams -- one per team -- with each team having one team that is used similar to a AAA team
  7. Personally, I think that players should be allowed to turn pro right out of high school and leave college at any time they want to turn pro as well. Ultimately, it shouldn't be what is best for the fans. Players should be able to make their own decisions. If someone offered you a dream job after your freshman of college in the major you were going into and the employer didn't care about the lack of degree, then I think no one would argue with you doing so....yet we want to keep players from doing so when ultimately the degree is meaningless to the actual thing they are wanting to turn professional in? You don't have to agree with the decision of a player to leave to agree that they should have the right to do so.
  8. I think that is ultimately going to be true as well, but at that point something has to give roster wise. Even if O.G. is the only one to leave and only Durham recommits, we are over by one.
  9. I have yet to see a program fire all of their players, so until that happens the coach will be the one held accountable.
  10. It was the same coach who had zero players drafted the year before on a team that won the Big Ten. It is what it is.

(2018) S Jordan Jusevitch to IU

Saw him play multiple games. Worth noting that this past season he recorded his 100+ tackles while playing hurt. He was set to also be Lowell's lead rushing back but the injury limited him on that side of a ball because he wasn't able to cut like he would have wanted to. Despite missing 2 1/2 games, he was Northwest Indiana's defensive player of the year.

    WWE thread

I understand why they save that entrance for special occasions, but it's a damn good entrance. The way he came out for Seth Rollins was really cool. But you can't overuse something and keep it fresh. Someone needs to tell that about Enzo.....they've taken a guy with pretty good mic skills and have him saying the same damn thing for the past year now.
  13. PG McKinley Wright is. Borderline top 150 pick that came down to Dayton and Minnesota. He's very upset about Miller leaving Dayton according to his tweets.

    Poll: Archie Miller

He has no track record of success? He's won back to back conference titles and has averaged 26 wins per season over the last for. He had an elite eight at Dayton versus the final four that Crean had (when he had Dwayne Wade). C'mon.

    "This Season Was So Bad"...jokes

This season was so bad that Rutgers sued IU for trademark infringement.

    "This Season Was So Bad"...jokes

This season was so bad they just rehired Crean so they could fire him again. this season was so bad Kevin Wilson was brought in as a grief counselor.

    Name the Tom Crean era

The Longest Yard. The program certainly got better from when he started, just not quick enough and long enough.

    It's spill the beans time

Watford seemed very upset about Crean's firing on twitter, so I'm going to have to say that it couldn't have been anything from CWat that should have any kind of impact on Van Treese's decision.

    "This Season Was So Bad"...jokes

This season was so bad, LaVar Ball beat it in a game of one-on-one.

    Player Moves

And sitting out a year to boot. I think RJ is a more likely transfer, but I expect next year to see Newkirk, Green, and Johnson if they are here to be all starting in a three guard lineup beside Morgan and Davis.

Statistical comparisons of Crean vs Alford

So the author 'knows Tom Crean gets a breakfast pass' for his first two years at Indiana, but includes them anyway? Hmmm..... BTW, if Steve Alford entered Iowa as a mediocre program, he left it as a mediocre program with a former coach who tried to influence rape charges of players.

Bobby Knight "I Hope they're all dead" comments

Do you remember the quote from him on the issue of being fired how the big person wronged in all of this was his son Pat, who was now out of job? As if Pat Knight would have been on anyone's staff at that point in his life except his dad's...much like he wouldn't have played for any division one team except one coached by him.

Bobby Knight "I Hope they're all dead" comments

And he dampened his legacy by continuing to be a petulant child 17 years after the fact.

Bobby Knight "I Hope they're all dead" comments

Sorry, but he doesn't still appreciate the fans in Indiana. Do you honestly think he appreciates anyone who continued to root for Indiana after he was gone? He was a great coach. But he also exemplified behaviors that when portrayed by players on his team he wouldn't have begun to tolerate and he long ago made this it about an 'either Knight or Indiana' situation.
