He also stated last November that Billy Preston was soon going to be declared eligible by the NCAA and play for the Jayhawks. His eligibility was denied and he left Kansas in January to play overseas. Also for the record, the 'source' he claims to have is 'someone that is connected to one of the coaches'. So anything he is saying is a claim of "I heard someone who heard someone who heard from a recruit'.

Funny thing how he doesn’t even mention the ‘news that was coming out this weekend’.

Tonto started out by saying that 'news was going to be released this weekend (past weekend) on Romeo that could be good for Kansas. Never said what it was....then someone else started a rumor about a meeting, tonto seemed to imply there was one, then someone else brought up the fact that the NCAA was in a no-meet time zone, and he changed his tune to 'depends on what you call a meeting'. All from a guy who's been a member on their site for over a year and has posted like 160 times. His narrative has been to provide incredibly vague 'items' and then try to hop on anyone else's items as something connected to what he 'knows'.

He never used words like 'done deal' with Vandy. And that pick was months before any announcement was going to come.

Main reason we got Bryant was the hot water Syracuse got in with the NCAA.

I know....it’s not like I seriously think he could jinx it. If I did think it could be jinxed, I’d be guaranteeing he wouldn’t be coming to IU. It’s all good.

While I think Romeo is probably coming, please don't jinx this by talking about what happens 'after he leaves'.

But in the case of Troy and JBJ, that writing was already on the wall -- that they were looking to go pro. Both had tested the water the year before. In terms of Juwan getting a summer league spot somewhere, I'd say that was a given. That really doesn't mean much. Hell, Chris Kramer had a summer league spot with the Pacers when he graduated.

And they won their first 26 games of the season and were ranked #1. I'm not sure that 'bad coaching' results in that kind of year, regardless of the players on the team.

So let’s say those guys have him on their radar as being, say, the 80th best player. You certainly aren’t going to use a top 50 pick on him and even if you choose to use a very late second round pick, the proper end game isn’t to draft a guy 80th on your board.....it’s to draft a guy you like that someone else draft after you. Morgan isn’t going to be drafted, so at best he could be getting told that “hey, we might be interested in your game enough to bring you in as an undrafted free agent.” i just am not seeing the narrative where he is being told he could get drafted, which IMO would be the minimum necessary to convince someone who wasn’t planning on even going through the process doing so. when Williams and Blackmon left, neither were considered draft worthy — but it was pretty much already a conclusion that each was leaving after their junior year regardless.
