IU has traditionally released very little on athlete discipline and injuries. IMO, I think that us how it should be...our want to know shouldn't step on player privacy. -

You said 'people are feeling bad for him'....and cited one guy who said it. Maybe your logic is just too passive. -

We also simply aren't real deep. Hard to push tempo if you aren't. -

And that, IMO, is your issue....your interpretation of how you feel others think of him to go farther than necessary in criticism of him. "Feeling bad for him"? Really? Kid is going to be a millionaire at 19....why would we feel bad for him? -

And just like Romeo, we had people in thd fan base who failed to appreciate him when was here...to the point of saying we won a big ten title because he got hurt. -

Seriously, I don't know what your problem is. An 18 year kid stays home for once, leads us in scoring as a freaking freshman and is getting 5 1/2 boards to boot and all you do is whine about him. -

I guess you haven't seen some of stiffs in starting lineups in the NBA. -

If Durham starts, the only guard on thd bench is Anderson. No Buenos. -
Not just that, but since second semester has already started a transfer request now doesn't gain him anything that an off-season transfer wouldn't give him. All it would do his cut hid career by a dozen games or more as he sat out thd rest of thr semester. That is counterproductive to what he want and make him less desirable in terms of teams looking at him....make it to the end of the year and he's a guy moving on because things hadn't worked out. Get a transfer now and he's a guy who left his team in the middle of the season despite getting 20+ minutes/game.

I will say this....our lack of shooting hasn't just been for the guys that are still here. Curtis Jones is shooting 35% at Oklahoma State.

I think that reading into a guy's personality based on how he plays isn't necessarily accurate. How he plays doesn't really have anything to do with his character. Honestly, IMO this team played its best when Green is playing his best. He and Justin Smith are the X factors. Things haven't gone well for Green for long stretches, but when they have he adds the third scorer we need. The whole 'he's a one man turnover show' is such a lazy and inaccurate statement. Against Michigan/Maryland/Nebraska, he had 1 turnover (and 11 assists) in 93 minutes. He did have turnover issues against Purdue, but he sure as hell wasn't the reason we lost that game. The bottom line is when someone isn't shooting well, everybody overmagnifies any other mistake they make. Regardless of whether it's for the short or long term, it hurts our already short backcourt depth. I don't think that we can go with Langford/Phinissee/Durham for long stretches because that leaves only Damezi to play minutes off the bench at shooting guard and no backup at point.

Not really. A point saying that Anthony Bennett was drafted way too high is a pretty pointless one. No kidding there are misses in drafts. Romeo is getting drafted in the lottery and he'l have a nice career. Do you want to argue he won't? -

I'm sorry, but I don't even love the kid. For a guy that is supposed to have a high basketball IQ, the dude won't even shoot the ball with the shot clock running out. He refuses to even look at the basketball or give a shot fake when he's open. He's a liability not only because of this but because we have younger guys who can go in the game and hurt us just as much as he does...and they'll be around next year. -

McRoberts won't even ******* shoot when the shot is running out. He.can't.play. He's a senior walk on. Period. If the young guys you recruited aren't there yet.....GET THEM THERE. -

Didn't stop them from calling a second foul on Langford. But honestly, that's why I put Langford back in. They know who he is....less likely to call a third foul on him. -

Refs letting the Purdue players call the fouls right now.
