  1. I wouldn't understand the logic in RoJo leaving. He wouldn't even be a D-league starter at this point....certainly not any kind of featured player. His route through the D League to the NBA would be INCREDIBLY rough and long -- not to mention the fact that it in all liklihood wouldn't happen. If he is thinking there is NBA in his future (which, while I love him, I don't), the quickest route is to put up a good year where he is the featured scorer at IU. If he is looking overseas, that might be a different answer....but even then, getting a guaranteed money overseas is certainly easier to get coming off a better year than he had last year.
  2. I would think that JBJ leaving would mean a bigger role for RoJo. From what I see, he should be our #1 offensive option next year. IMO, that would be a pretty big reason for him to stay as it would give him an opportunity to showcase his talent.
  3. He is a very untalented player. If he doesn't have fundamentals to begin with and he's a senior, I"m not sure what teaching them would do. Put those minutes elsewhere.
  4. He ended up with two minutes against NW. If Priller is on the court, we are in trouble.
  5. I'm not sure what minutes you are talking about last year that were legitimate, non-mop up minutes. The Purdue minutes were him just fouling and getting Purdue not guarding him on defense.

    TOM CREAN FIRED

Not sure why there is a need to dance on Tom Crean's grave after his coaching gig died here. Like it or not, he is going to coach again and he will have some pretty good teams. It's not like he pulled a total jerk move and wished death upon those who were there when he was fired.
  7. You'll have to point to where I said that. But you are asking how he was going to guard players that he isn't going to be asked to guard in the NBA. My point was that an NBA coach that is putting Thomas Bryant to guard a quick, athletic small forward shouldn't have a job. Seems silly.
  8. Any NBA exec that is concerned about Bryant guarding guys like Troy Williams should go ahead and fire their coach right now.
  9. IMO, JBJ isn't in the 70. You would that players showing up in the 70 are appearing in a mock draft or two.....I haven't been seeing JBJ in any of them. Remember last year Yogi didn't get invited (Troy Williams did). I think after the top 50 or so, teams are more interested in seeing what players who have more questions about their capabilities get invited. I think teams already know what Blackmon can do....shoot, rebound decently for his size, but really lacking defensively. Ferrell's abilities were definitely more known than Williams last year which IMO is why Troy got the invite and not Yogi.
  10. I was actually okay with it last year because it at least showed that he cared about it. Too many of guys who didn't seem to.
  11. McRoberts more than anything was given so much time because of other player lack of development or misses in scouting. I like McRoberts, but I'm hoping he isn't being counted on next year to play the kind of minutes he played last year.
  12. I would agree except the way the game is called and the rules they have in place, I don't see how that legitimately is done to any large degree. No reset magnifies a couple of questionable early calls in a half. I'm for reducing the effects of TV Teddies out there.
  13. I just don't see Moore being the sixth man even if TB stays in the draft.
  14. Mr. Gorbachev...tear down this wall.
  15. One note -- there has been discussion by the NBA of having 30 D league teams -- one per team -- with each team having one team that is used similar to a AAA team
  16. Personally, I think that players should be allowed to turn pro right out of high school and leave college at any time they want to turn pro as well. Ultimately, it shouldn't be what is best for the fans. Players should be able to make their own decisions. If someone offered you a dream job after your freshman of college in the major you were going into and the employer didn't care about the lack of degree, then I think no one would argue with you doing so....yet we want to keep players from doing so when ultimately the degree is meaningless to the actual thing they are wanting to turn professional in? You don't have to agree with the decision of a player to leave to agree that they should have the right to do so.
  17. I think that is ultimately going to be true as well, but at that point something has to give roster wise. Even if O.G. is the only one to leave and only Durham recommits, we are over by one.
  18. I have yet to see a program fire all of their players, so until that happens the coach will be the one held accountable.
  19. It was the same coach who had zero players drafted the year before on a team that won the Big Ten. It is what it is.

(2018) S Jordan Jusevitch to IU

Saw him play multiple games. Worth noting that this past season he recorded his 100+ tackles while playing hurt. He was set to also be Lowell's lead rushing back but the injury limited him on that side of a ball because he wasn't able to cut like he would have wanted to. Despite missing 2 1/2 games, he was Northwest Indiana's defensive player of the year.

    WWE thread

I understand why they save that entrance for special occasions, but it's a damn good entrance. The way he came out for Seth Rollins was really cool. But you can't overuse something and keep it fresh. Someone needs to tell that about Enzo.....they've taken a guy with pretty good mic skills and have him saying the same damn thing for the past year now.
  22. PG McKinley Wright is. Borderline top 150 pick that came down to Dayton and Minnesota. He's very upset about Miller leaving Dayton according to his tweets.

    Poll: Archie Miller

He has no track record of success? He's won back to back conference titles and has averaged 26 wins per season over the last for. He had an elite eight at Dayton versus the final four that Crean had (when he had Dwayne Wade). C'mon.

    "This Season Was So Bad"...jokes

This season was so bad that Rutgers sued IU for trademark infringement.
