You don't have to go back to Jan 15th to see the lack of response.

Re: states rights..... it’s funny how many ‘state’s rights’ issues have been over ridden (not just by this administration, but historically) by executive order....yet when it comes to covid 19, it’s not a consideration.

Do they not include employees in the count? If not, that's a shame.

The U.S. numbers do not fall in line with flu numbers in either cases or deaths, especially considering that the amount of precautions that have occurred for the coronavirus.

It's certainly not the only thing I worry about, but 1000% agree with you on that. Was happy to see that it looks like Wal-Mart is now limiting the number of customers that can be in the store at one time.

    Coronavirus and Its Impact

It's called recklessness and willful ignorance. If you want to forget his 'you can't let the cure be worse than the disease' when we weren't even two weeks into states starting isolation, more luck to you. When Fauci says that he can't just 'run up and knock the microphone' out of Trump's hands as he spreads misinformation, you need to be worried.

March freaking 24th Trump said the U.S. "opened up, raring to go" by April 12th. Show me the 'everyone' that was making those kind of statements then.

    Coronavirus and Its Impact

Correct on some places getting more than they need and some getting less and there not being rhyme nor reason to it. The hospital my sister works at is a small one in a rural community. They received 250 test kits and basically said all hospitals were receiving the same number regardless of where they were located and what their capacity was.

In this case, yes. I would take issue with the first part of that statement in a lot of his other endeavors.

It's hard to understand a role you aren't qualified to have.

    Coronavirus and Its Impact

Someone qualified or....has a grasp of the English language...should have explained it correctly. The President and his lackey son-in-law have have two chances now to explain and have still failed. The coordination states have received from a national government which downplayed it from the start and was even suggesting last week that the country would be up and operating by April 12th. There is nothing fake about how incompetent the response has been.

Cooper Jones (DE) 2021 to Indiana

Saw him play against Hobart in the year opening scrimmage. Hobart had a really good team (advanced to the 4A semi-state game) and they couldn't move the ball at all against Valpo.
  18. Michigan at Illinois and Wisconsin at Rutgers have been simmed and posted.

    Coronavirus and Its Impact

Indiana schools officially will not be open for the remainder of the school year. Students will have remote instruction only for the rest of the year and the number of instructional days is dropped from 180 to 160. Most schools will end their year by the end of April.
  20. Yes, but please post here after you do so I know to make those changes.

Absolutely correct on the number of resolved cases being off for a multitude of reasons. I've heard that in order to be considered virus free, you need to have two negative tests after testing positive. I highly doubt that this is happening in a vast majority of cases. The treatment for suspected exposure without symptoms or with mild to moderate symptoms is no different: self isolation if possible. I am also positive that the vast majority of cases that have recovered are not getting two negative tests and being given a clean bill of health.....the pattern either seems to be being hospitalized because the symptoms could be fatal or to be told to go into self isolation until you are symptom free for a certain number of days. WIth a shortage of tests, they have to conserve them for patients in more dire straits.

I understand that personal anecdote doesn't hold up to quantifiable evidence......I teach science. But I see nothing in his comment saying that he has any proof that he and his son had coronavirus last December. This wasn't someone claiming any degree of certainty about anything.
  23. Last Thursday game simmed (Maryland at Penn State). Here is the link --- all box scores are present. At the end of the week I will post standings and team stats. https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1FurcZ_-uBcxmnuY3N_MGmc_jDOdqM16QwZMxDfgGp_g/edit?usp=sharing

If he had done so earlier, it likely would have helped other states as well as people traveled to Florida over spring break and brought it back. https://www.businessinsider.com/coronavirus-florida-gov-ron-desantis-issues-statewide-shutdown-2020-4

Yeah, I'm not sure what brass' reply was about there. It seemed like you were just adding a personal anecdote, nothing more, and not even selling that it was proof. Brass has been on top of things in terms of Covid news, just not sure what that reply was about.
