Dorm fits the Luke Goode position, especially if Goode doesn’t get a waiver -

Three pointers made/game over their career and three point career percentage: Enright: 1.0; 37% Conerway: 1.0; 29% Wilkerson: 2.1; 40% Miles: 1.6; 33% Drake: 0.9; 39% DeVries: 2.5: 37% Bailey: 0.4: 31% TOTAL: 9.5 out of 26.6; 36% Obviously the minute distribution isn't established, but we know Sisley is a good shooter (might not get a ton of time as a freshman, though) and if Goode were granted another season, that is a lot of guys you have to guard from three. I would expect that unlike the past zillion years the three point shot is going to be a huge part of IU's offense. -

Miller is a much better rim protector than Bailey but isn't as skilled offensively. -

I like that Dorn would have two years of eligibility left, but how's he fit with who we have currently? Seems like the 1/2/3 positions are getting pretty full. But hey if this works, mannnnn do we have a lot of three point shooting. -
Travis Perry, Kentucky.6’1 guard, three years eligibility Good one: Desmond Claude, USC. 15.8 pts, 3.5 rebounds, 4.2 asterisks. 6’6”

FWIW, if Federiko is added, Torvik moves IU up to 28th when compared to last year's teams -- right after 27-7 Clemson and right before 25-10 Oregon. -

The rank changer doesn't work real well on roster cast. FWIW, they have put Drake in now and with him IU is listed with a Pythagorean number of .8876. That would have put IU 34th in last year's ratings, one spot below where 24-11 UConn finished. With Drake removed, IU's Pythagorean number would be .8799, which would have put them 39th at the end of last year -- one spot after 38th ranked 19-13 West Virginia. -

Have to say realistically it's Creighton, Ohio State, and LSU. Howard just thrown in there for sentimental's sake. -

In terms of splash, On3 has IU bringing in the 15th, 31st, 34th, and 96th rated transfers. 15th is Tucker Devries, the others are from mid/low majors. But mid/low majors don't necessarily equate to lack of splash, just they are players you weren't familiar with until the transfer portal. Would you call the following group splashy? Isaac McNeely (Virginia) Rodney Rice (Maryland) Morez Johnson (Illinois) Rakease Passmore (Kansas) Because that group of four are the P5 players directly below the 15th, 31st, 34th, and 96th rated transfers. -
He would not have a year remaining. Put him in the group of players entering the portal hoping a lawsuit gives them another year.

No eligibility left. Several others have done this as well but I haven't seen any sign that doesn't have eligibility left. Probably hoping for a lawsuit to go through that would grant them another year, but as of now he's used his eligibility up. -

I believe this is an upper half Big Ten team as is. Need to remember that the top of the Big Ten is pretty good next year -- Purdue, Michigan, Michigan State, Illinois, Oregon are all solid. Could throw in UCLA as well. IU currently at fifth in transfer portal and I would guess we'll be in that neighborhood when all is said and done. That said, IU did need to be in that neighborhood since we didn't retain any players. Offensively, the haul looks very good. Perimeter shooting looks excellent. Conerway helps defensively and I believe that bringing in a defensive center will help as well. -
No, he’s Villanova bound

Denzel Aberdeen, 6'5" Florida guard. Scored 7 points in 18 minutes in the title game. 7.7 points, 1.7 rebounds in 19.7 minutes/game. 42/35/71.

Jabri Abdur-Rahim, Providence forward. 6'8" forward, 7.2 pts in 16.2 minutes per game. Three point specialist, 175 of 491 in his career (36%).

Grand Canyon big man Duke Brennan commits to Villanova. IU had been in contact.
-

B.J. Freeman, Arizona State. 6'6" guard. Was removed late in the season from Arizona State's team for 'conduct detrimental to the team'. Was the Sun Devils leading scorer prior to being removed. 13.7 points, 3.9 reb, 2.6 ast. Shot 42/36/75. The year prior he was at Milwuakee and averaged 21.1 points.
-
Another one and a surprising one. Chad Baker-Mazara, Auburn 6'7" wing. 12.3 points, 3.0 reb, 2.7 ast. 45/38/89
-
Some big new ones. Rashool Diggins, U Mass, 6'2" guard, 16.8 pts, 2.8 reb, 2.7 ast, 37/31/84. Interesting: Jayden Stone, West Virginia. 6'4" guard. Redshirted last season at West Virginia. Previous season (23-24) at Detroit Mercy where he averaged 20.8 pts, 5.6 reb, and 2.7 assists. Shot 42/31/79. P.J. Haggerty, Memphis. 6'3" guard. 21.7 pts, 5.8 reb, 3.7 ast. Shot 48/36/82. Just that we are likely heavy at wing right now -- lot of guys that can play the three, particularly if Goode gets his waiver.
