Not portal news, but Armaan Franklin his last year and putting his name in the draft.

Raven Johnson was basically it.....3/6 from three. And she averaged 2 ppg and was shooting 21% from three all year. Either Iowa scouted them really well or SC just pissed down their leg shooting wide open threes. They weren't tough shots.

Honestly, I don't dislike Clark. She can't help the ESPN boot licking. Post game question to her from ESPN: "How did you have ice in your veins tonight?" Seriously? WTF kind of question is that?

Cooke has 24 points. The rest of the SC starters have 11 points and 3 for 24 from the field.

There was actually like 4 seconds left on the shot clock at the time. She's taken a couple of bad threes but SC can't shoot a lick.

Admittedly this is the first time I've seen South Carolina play, but if this normal I don't see how they could have been 36-0. The only redeeming thing I've seen for them is they're big. Clark is very, very good but every time she dries SC's interior players provide no help and just watch her burn Beal.

Seriously, seriously doubt that. EDIT: NM, found out that she actually had over $1 million in NIL deals and then signed one with Nike after that. My bad. https://www.morningstar.com/news/marketwatch/20230331467/iowas-caitlin-clark-continues-to-pile-up-wins-and-money-during-march-madness

South Carolina has more offensive rebounds than Iowa has rebounds....but they are down 2.

Iowa is just completely daring their guards to shoot.

With NIL, why would Caitlyn Clark not play two more years at Iowa? Last season, the average salary of the first four picks in the WNBA draft made $72,000. The most anyone made was $228,000. I know that in the women's game NIL is much, much less but it's hard to imagine that if Clark came back next year that she couldn't pull in more than $72,000.

Not to get off topic, but personally I would have stayed at Utah Valley another year and checked my prospects next year than take the California job. Mark Fox is a pretty good coach and he found out how hard it was to win there.

Utah Valley's coach has moved on to California just two days after they lost in the final four of the NIT. Already three Utah Valley players in the portal; only one of mention is La'Tre Darthard, 6'4" guard. Averaged 13.8 ppg, 3.5 reb, 1.6 assists. Shot 43/36/89. A player to keep on eye on to see if they enter the portal from Utah Valley is Trey Woodbury. Although he's not as tall, I'd compare him to Sam Griesel.

I don't like defending Brass, but......I don't think him asking what he has been correct about is an unfair question.....you shouldn't have to sift through hundreds of pages of material to know one thing if you consider him to be a trusted source. If you asked posters on here what Chris has been correct on anyone that has spent any time on the board could tell you things immediately.

I HATED Scott Skiles when he played at Michigan State. As a Pacers fan, I loved him when he with them. I think you’d be surprised how much you love a villain when he’s on your side.

On3 had his valuation at $600,000 last fall. But Michigan’s NIL has not be on par, so don’t know what he is earning.

Chris Youngblood, Kennesaw State. 6’4” guard, leading scorer at 14.7 points. Excellent shooter, 42% from three last season and 39% in his career.

My guess is Dickinson’s entry into the portal is there to explore all options: going into the draft, returning to Michigan, or going elsewhere.

Personally, I would have voted for Edey as NPOY and TJD as Big Ten POY. TJD was better than Edey in Big Ten play but Edey was better in non-conference.

Javien McCollum, Siena. 6'2" sophomore guard. 15.9 ppg, 2.1 rpg, 3.9 apg. Shot 43/36/89.

Defense ahead of his offense right now. Really good rebounder and internal defender.

Hell, if JHS is back (he isn’t) with X and Love, you know who starts? All three, same as Miami.

Wisconsin's Jordan Davis in the portal. I half expected he was going to be the typical Wisconsin player who played spot minutes for a couple of years and then exploded....didn't happen. Ohio State's Eugene Brown (3.5 pts, 2.4 reb in 17 mpg) also in. Was a top 150 kid out of hs. Some had mentioned that out of high school Tyler Nickel (North Carolina) was a guy IU was interested in. He just committed to Virginia Tech. Marshall's Micah Holdlogten is an interesting entry. True freshman last year, 7'1". Started all 32 games for Marshall. 25.3 minutes per game, averaged 7.6 points, 9.8 rebounds, 1.2 assists and 2.3 blocks/game. Shot 66%.

Honestly, that isn't new, particularly with Ledlum. Ledlum is from Brooklyn and I think he was one of the first players Pitino contacted. That said, Ledlum set up a visit with IU well after Pitino contacted him. IMO living so close to St. John's he already has an impression of the school/program. I think if he is impressed during his visit to Indiana that he would have IU over St. John's.
