Illinois was hoping to lock up Ray J Dennis on his visit. Didn’t happen. He added and then took a quick Michigan visit. Trilly Donovan indicates he also has Baylor and Kansas St visits lined up

I believe Trilly Donovan had indicated that Dunn reached out to IU….so would assume IU did not reciprocate interest.

    Who fills the last scholarship?

I’ve mentioned him quite a bit because his shooting wasn’t a one year blip — he shot like that as a freshman. Also can drive some. Won’t be a high volume offensive player but is incredibly efficient.
  4. funny how one recruit changed a lot of people’s tunes from woody can’t recruit to woody is a closer. reality is always in between pessimism and optimism.
  5. Trilly Donovan trolling the Kansas fanbase.

According to Torvik, the top rated guards left are. 1. Ray J. Dennis, Toldeo. Combo guard. 19.5 ppg, 4.3 rpg, 5.7 apg. Shot 48/36/78. Most analysts believe he is headed to Illinois. 2. 7. All money is donated straight into MM's NIL account.
  8. The turning point of the recruitment: Bill Self facetimed MM this morning. Camera panned down to Self's morning meal of scrambled eggs and ketchup.

    NCAA MBB Transfer Portal

Went from one really good recruit and a couple of rotational guys to two really good recruits and two rotational guys. 247 ranks IU's overall recruiting rank (incoming freshman and transfer portal) now at #9 overall with a rating of 66.92. The only Big Ten team ahead of IU is Michigan State at #6 with a rating of 67.76.
  10. Is that a proposition? If so, no thanks.
  11. Currently have a very steady and hard nosed shooting guard and a high potential power forward as well.
  12. Might even go as far as to say that IU should look for the best shooter they can get and not necessarily the best 2 guard. Someone to spell Galloway. Do wonder if Gunn or Banks would have entered the portal if MM had committed yesterday. Still really love Banks' future and am not ready to call it quits on Gunn.
  13. Don't know what Ngw found but does seem like he shared it with @Stuhoo who seemed to think it was very noteworthy. So kudos, give props when props are due.
  14. Torvik jump from 39 to 24.
  15. From what Trilly Donovan has said, right now Taylor to Ole Miss is quite possible. Lawrence was mentioned as well and don't recall exactly what he said but it did sound like Vandy was trying to get enough NIL to keep him but that didn't look that good...seemed like someone down south was in heavy pursuit.
  16. Hell of a roller coaster for the Jayhawks this week....something they aren't used to. Hunter Dickinson signs.....leading to two pretty good bigs to transfer. Fans thinking was that, no problem, MM commits, Adams and he play the 3/4. Now no MM.
  17. Kansas' two big insiders on their board are gReed and Ryan Cooley. Both were ultra confident that MM was coming. Think it was gReed who said he would drink milt but it might have been Cooley. Honestly feel bad for them as individuals because it sounds like they have provided a ton of good intel for Jayhawk fans but the intel here was either incorrect or changed.....Trilly Donovan for the win once again as he said not to believe anything that was being said.
  18. Slater's tweet of MM's commitment up 11 minutes -- 1500 likes so far.
  19. KETCHUP DRENCHED CHICKEN SANDWICHES ON ME!!!!!!!!!!!!1
  20. Fifth greatest day for me. #3 and #4: birth of my kids. #2: wedding day. #1: the day my kids quit soccer.
  21. I will say that you are always one to own up if they were incorrect. Glad to have you on our side.
  22. Kansas insider on Phog said he would eat milt and eggs if MM committed to Indiana
  23. IMO, our last biggest get was TJD coming back when Woodson took over.
