  1. On the defensive end, he is a plus defender. I would also say that he hasn't been efficient and has been a ball hog with the caveat that Hubert Davis was his coach. Whether he can be controlled would depend on coach and Love. IMO, if Woodson was willing to give Love the leash he wanted, he would be here because Juwan Howard has been very public about Michigan being behind in NIL money and Trilly Donovan has stated that Missouri is losing recruiting wars because of their inability to have good NIL deals in place. IMO, Love choosing Michigan meant he felt it was important to his future to get more touches as opposed to immediate NIL gains. Unless that has changed, I expect he'll look for another Michigan type of situation. I could be wrong, but I think if he were to end up at IU that Woodson isn't going to give in to his expectations of being the guy the offense runs around. If he were going to do so, Woodson would have been more likely to give into those demands back in April when the roster needed an injection of talent as opposed to now when the roster has added one of the most sought after portal entries, a top ten 2023 recruit, and received word that the starting point guard was returning.
  2. @Banksyruleshas some ACC insight on Love.
  3. One difference: people know what state Colorado State, Oklahoma State and Georgia Tech are in.
  4. The thing is this....... When Caleb Love first entered the transfer portal, there were immediate rumors that he would be going to Indiana. A little time passed and then there was a zoom call. @Chris007indicated that the call which was to gauge interest from both sides did not turn out to make any in roads. Love was looking to be given a lot of free reign. Whether or not this occurred in the call -- and I have zero reason to doubt what @Chris007is saying based on his past history -- the fact is that in quick order Indiana started sliding down from 'he's going to Indiana' to "it's between Indiana and Missouri' to "it's between Missouri and Michigan' to 'he's going to Michigan'. Fact is that the zoom call didn't yield a visit speaks volumes IMO in one or both sides not seeing it as a fit. That said.....I'm not convinced he'll end up at Missouri. Accoring to a Trilly Donovan tweet, Missouri shot big in trying to get top recruits in the transfer portal and continually ended up short for one reason: NIL money. If you ask me if I think Love ends up at Missouri, Indiana, or somewhere else, I'll take somewhere else. Places that make more sense to me would be Illinois if they can't reel in Ray J Dennis, Louisville, or Georgia. All have a lot of NIL money and he fits.
  5. Trilly has alluded that he is in fact a burner account and now states in his twitter description "college hoops box score enthusiast & “very reliable” burner account." He's also tweeted that 'burner rules' and 'journalist rules' are different.

Hmmmm..... Kelvin Sampson has interviewed for the Bucks position. Might be worth keeping an eye on players that had transferred to them through the portal to see if they get their release from Houston and re-enter the portal. Two players that they had signed: Damian Dunn, shooting guard from Temple: 6'5", 15.3 points, 3.7 rebounds, 3.0 assists, shot 41/35/81. L.J. Cryer, combo guard from Baylor: 6'1", 15.0 ppg, 2.1 reb, 2.0 assists, show 45/42/89.

Looks like there are some insiders reporting that he could not get in through admissions.
  8. Would agree. Heard it was a mutual disinterest. Sounded like he wanted to be THE guy a team was built around.
  9. I don't know whose burner account Trilly Donovan is, but my God this guy knows things. May 4th tweet from Caleb Love.
  10. This is the thing: Parrish is hurt because his pal Archie failed. But more than anything, he gives Indiana crap because it drives clicks. Want to make sure that your article isn't read? Say something -- anything whether it's positive or negative -- about Purdue. Because nationally, no one cares. It's something that drives Purdue fans nuts because despite deserving more attention than Indiana by being the better team the past twenty years, the history is 'nice little regular season story, but do nothing on the national stage'. Ultimately, that title is going to stick until something changes it. Doing well in the regular season won't change that.....nationally people don't care about that in Purdue's case because they've seen it before.

Zyon Pullin will be an excellent get for whoever gets him. He's not a bulk three point shooter but scores at multi-levels and gets to the line a ton.

Tanner Holden transfer from Ohio State to Wright State. He had played three years at Wright State, starting all three years, and put up 20 points and 7 rebounds per game his last year there. He was thought to be a difference maker when he transferred to Ohio State last year but ended up only averaging 13 1/2 minutes and 3.6 points per game.

Not a transfer but rather a reclassify -- Trilly Donovan indicating that Thomas Sorber (6'9" center, class of 2024 consensus #68 rated prospect) will reclassify to 2023 and commit to Georgetown.

Strange pickup for Maryland. Mada Traore, 6'11" center who played his freshman year at New Mexico State. Only played a total of ten minutes as he had to complete some academics before being eligible and New Mexico State cancelled their season shortly after. Was ranked only 237 in his recruiting class. I would have assumed he was a walk on but everything I've seen online does not seem to indicate that.

    Who fills the last scholarship?

That was my point as well. Edey’s status is huge for them because the I would expect a drop off from the other player’s play if he doesn’t come back.

    Who fills the last scholarship?

What Purdue didn’t have, though, was an experienced point guard to learn from.

Trilly Donovan alluding to a signing at St. John's -- looks to be Zuby Elijiofor from Kansas. Was ranked 47th in the class of 2023 but had a very disappointing freshman year at Kansas. Pitino kept only Joel Soriano and little used Drissa Traore on the team and also had all previous incoming recruits decommit. Not sure they are really any better than they were before, just different. Have to see if they add anyone else -- I'm not sure how many scholarship spots are left.
  18. Good read. I wouldn't consider Mike Vernon one of the less unhinged KU insiders, though. He certain trolls a lot online and tends to insult anyone who doubts his intel. I'd say the article is more about him being humbled by being wrong than being accurate.

IU back to be rated 24th on Torvik. Looks like all teams are back to where they were a couple of days ago, so not sure what is happening there.

I have no idea what the injury was last season nor do I know how he translates to P5. I'm just listing options that are out there.

Austin Williams, grad transfer, enters the portal. Spent 2017-18 and 2018-19 at Marist; transferred to Hartford, sat out 2019-20 under transfer rules, played two years, transferred to Florida International last year in what was to be his last year, but missed all season with a knee injury.. His transfer will give him his third team in seven seasons. His last year he played -- 2021-22 at Hartford -- he averaged 16.1 ppg, 5.2 rpg, and 3.4 apg. Shot 50/31/62.

Ole Miss has signed four in the portal under Chris Beard. Two are non-grad two time transfers so will have to see if they receive a waiver to player right away. Of the four, two are seven+ footers — Jamarion Sharp (7’5”) and Cissa from Oklahoma state (7’1”).
