I'm pretty confident that Sorsby had the call right there and the receiver didn't.....there would be literally no reason for the receiver to cut his pattern off there. The problem -- Allen calls a timeout prior to doing it, leaving him with one. Now anything caught in the field of play that doesn't result in a touchdown ends the game. Also the fact that we didn't have the first down goes back to our receiver running out of bounds a yard short of the first down on first down. Could have fought for that yard.
