What an ugly ******* game.
-
Don't need a three but need a score quick.
-
ESPN calling Gainey 'a baller' as he goes 3 of 13 from the field.
-
Edey with the hook. Foul Tennessee.
-
Tennesse just throwing up threes now.
-
Jesus, Tennessee, call a time out there and let Gainey get his shoe.
-
Just getting ridiculous.....if you aren't allowed to defend Edey as hard as he fights for position, then you can't play him.
-
Purdue and Tennessee have combined for 34 out of 100 from the field and 10 of 37 from three....and have shot 64 combined free throws.
-
Awaka looked pretty damn vertical there.
-
Loyer is still just 7 of 18 from the field. Lots of points, but lots of shots.
-
Not sure how that is a foul on Awaika there.....
-
What in the hell is up with these foul calls now?
-
I rewound and freeze framed because I didn't think the Tennessee player stepped out of bounds when the ref called it out on the rebound......was correct, he was two or three inches in bounds.
-
....that was an extremely soft foul. Wow.
-
Both teams fouling a lot. Tennessee plays such physical ugly basketball that they should owe the Big Ten royalties.
-
Purdue/Tennessee free throw practice occasionally interrupted by a game.
-
Tennessee settling for jumpers and missing. But Edey has 4 fouls now.
-
Florida State dominating the OT so far.

Next up....Harvard. Malik Mack has been really, really good for them. As a team, they have shot well from three (41%) but they take it at a below average rate (22 per game). They hung with Boston College, losing by 9. Beat Massachusetts in overtime, but that was really a game they should have lost -- U Mass was 10 of 25 from the line. Don't expect it to be an easy one -- Pom has IU as a seven point favorite. Torvik has IU by 9. -

I would take Smith in a heartbeat. Loyer wilts, IMO.

So you are saying they will finish near the bottom of the ACC. -

I hope they do, but that would mean they are below 101 in NET. That would be in the neighborhood of what Wake Forest did last year, which was a NET of 90 with a 19-14 record. I think they probably have to go at least 9-11 in conference to finish with a NET below. I don't think they will. I'd say they have more talent than last year....but Kenny Payne on the sidelines isn't a good recipe. They got beat tonight by a defense that I'm sure IU spends very little time practicing. I've been a proponent of us trying it because of the issues we've had with switches. Mgbako wasn't in when we went to it, but I'd like to see him in that set sometime going forward because I think it fixes a lot of his defensive issues.
